main yahan par "SWAT ki yaad main" k name se pashto main kuch poetry share karne ja raha hoon, lekin choonke yahan par pashto readers bohot kam hai, es lie main ne in ko english main b translate kar dia hai, lekin problem ye hai, k main ne es se pehle kabhi bi kisi b poetry ko english main translate nahi kia hai es lie shaied kio acha ta'asur na pare, lekin pir b ek koshish kar di hai shaied aap log pasand kar le...
Ka ghaarma di kho bia hum domra khwaga di,
Soori sta da Karachi tri na sharmegi.
If there is sharp sunshine, but still so comfortable,
than the shadows of Karachi which feel shy of that sunshine.
Da jannat tota mi mondi pa dunia ki,
Pa jahan k chi da SWAT pa noom yaadegi.
I have found the piece of heaven here on the earth,
which is know as SWAT in the whole Universe.
Chi da mor pa khwa k naast sang ba khafa sham?
Pa khabaro chi ye stari dama kegi.
How would I be sad while sitting in the lap of my mother?
By the speech of which tired people feel easy.
Pa dunia k ka za har watan ta laar sham,
Zama SWAT zama na charta na heregi.
If every where I visit in the world,
I'll never forget my sweet home SWAT.
Ka sindona aw ka ghroona me da SWAT di,
Pa ledo ye imaanona taaza kegi.
All the rivers and green mountains of SWAT,
which one see them, his faith (Emaan) becomes fresh.
Za pa Karachi k ka dera yam,
Kho pa SWAT pasi mi sama jabai kegi……. L
What, if I stay here in Karachi? (City of lights)
Still my eyes tantalize to see my sweet SWAT…………….. L

Raata yaadegi maazigar da kali,
Chi ba wato mong pa chakar da kali.
I remember the matinees of the village,
while we were used to go on the visit of the village.
Hagha khwaga khwaga dostan sa shu?
Khwara waara shu dar pa dar da kali.
Where are those sweet and kind hearted friends now?
all those are now spread apart.
Khudaya da cha nazar pe walagedo?
Chi monga tol ye kro bahar da kali.
Who focused them leeringly?
which made us out side of the village.
Pa hara sima ye baman waregi,
SWATYAN gundi ba kom parhar da kali?
Every where is bombing just like rain,
which of the gashes, SWATIANs will treat first?
I MISS YOU SWAT………………… L

Your heavenly sceneries are taken in fire,
your land seems just like resurrection (Qayamat).

Kadi mo da khpal kali na bal kali ta wari di.
Don't come O pukhtoon brother! All the homes are taken in fire,
All the people have been migrated from the village to one's other village.
Ma raza pukhtoona ka da haala mo khabar shwe ta,
Sirey ba grewaan k ka da haala mo khabar shwe ta.
Don't come O pukhtoon brother! If you will know the situation here,
You will lacerate your own chest due to sorrows.
Na di da wayalo hagha sa chi mo lidali di,
Laari kosey waara pa sro wino lambedali di.
I cant describe the things which I have seen,
All the streets are showered with the blood of human beings.
Kadi mo da khpal kali na bal kali ta wari di…………L

Now there is no snow fall on the tops of green mountains

The drops of blood can b seen on flowers here

Now there is no more joy in our streets,

All that things, which we were discussing, till evening
Every thing has been left there.
Yaw musafar shuma yaran malgari hum na winam
Bal da abai dada korona rana pati shu
I became a voyager now, and can’t see my friends now,
Also my parents and their houses (sign of unity) has been left.
Za hum khafa yama kho sa chal rala na razi
Sang da ulfat hagha dak zruna rana pati shu
I am sad but don’t know any thing,
How the hearts full of love has been left?
Daa majboori ka be wasi shwala hes poha na shum
Chi da yaraano mehfalona rana paati shu.
What was this compulsion, I could not understand,
That the gathering of friends has been left.
