Beaia

I dont think so is this not allow in ISLAM. Cause ISLAM dislike or not allow those thing which have bad effects on health and also in Mashra. I dont know is there any bad effect of thinning of eyebrow but offcourse kisi bhi kam ki ziyati ka result hamesha kharab hi nikalta hai.

Facial hair

Removing of facial hair is not allowed.

According to saheeh hadeeth:

The PROPHET MOHAMMAD (P.B.U.H) said: The women who plucks faicial hair and the women who has this done are cursed.

Eye-Brows & Facial Hairs.

I agreed to Hungama.

Removing or Flucking of Facial Hairs is not Allowed but if it becomes so dense and Husband don't like it then it is Permissible.

Mullah Ali Qari (R.A) has commentated that plucking of the facial hair is haraam (prohibited) for a woman with the exception of moustache or beard hairs, if any woman is unfortunate enough to be troubled by these. (Mirqaat Vol.8 Pg.295; Ashrafiyyah).

However, if the eyebrows have become so dense that it is unseemly for a woman and incites abhorrence in her husband, it is permissible to trim it to a more appropriate and normal size. (Ahsanul Fataawa Vol.8 pg.76; Zakariyya Book Depot)

Hair which we are commanded to remove or shorten. This is known as Sunan al-Fitrah, such as ;

  • Removing the Pubic Hairs.
  • Trimming the Moustache.
  • Removing the Armpit Hairs.
  • (Shaving or Cutting the Hair of the head during Hajj or Umrah.)

The evidence for that is the hadeeth of ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) who said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Ten (actions) are part of the fitrah [natural inclinations of man]: trimming the moustache, letting the beard grow, using the siwaak (tooth-stick), rinsing the nose with water, clipping the nails, washing the finger joints, plucking the armpit hairs, shaving the pubes and washing oneself with water after relieving oneself.”

Zakariyya said: Mus’ab said: And I forgot the tenth but it may have been rinsing the mouth with water.

(Narrated by Muslim, 261)

Hairs which are forbidden to remove includes the eyebrows. The action of removing the hair of the eyebrows is called al-namas. It is also forbidden to remove the hair of the beard.

The evidence for that is the hadeeth of ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Allaah has cursed the woman who does tattoos and the one who has them done, the woman who plucks eyebrows (al-naamisah) and the one who has it done (al-mutanammisah), and the one who files her teeth for the purpose of beauty, altering the creation of Allaah.”

(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5931; Muslim, 2125)

Short answer yes you can pluck eyebrow - for long answer read on:

I hope I am not spaming by posting this answer here too as I have posted it in another post too.

These two hadith and one quranic verse are quoted for prohibition of eyebrow plucking .

And it was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Be different from the mushrikeen: let your beards grow and trim your moustaches.”

(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5892; Muslim, 259)

‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Allaah has cursed the woman who does tattoos and the one who has them done, the woman who plucks eyebrows (al-naamisah) and the one who has it done (al-mutanammisah), and the one who files her teeth for the purpose of beauty, altering the creation of Allaah.”

(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5931; Muslim, 2125

Quranic verse about the altering the creation of Allah is being used in wrong context here. If plucking the eyebrow is altering the creation of Allah.
Then removing the pubic hair is also altering the creation of allah and shaving the mustache is also altering the creation of Allah.

So this logic makes these two ahadees from Bukhari weak. I will post the Quranic verse later.
Now don't get me wrong. I am not a munkir a hadees. Hadees is a strong pillar of our riligion.
Bukhari is supposed to be most authentic hadees book. But it has so many hadees which contradict each other and quran and sunnah. These two hadees are example of that. I do not invalidate all of Bukhari's hadees. If I do that then I will not be able to Pray namaz because I will not know how to make wuzu and how to pray namaz although namaz is a farz according to Quran.
That being said then why I am refuting sahih hadees from Bukahri ?
Because my study of Islam tells me it is very pure very gentle and very liberal religion. But based on hadees it has been turned into a very strict , narrow minded and very aggresive religion. These two hadees are an example of it.
Because the very noble people who were collecting noble hadees of our holy prophet(sal lal lah hu ala hay wasalam ) had only one criteria for examining the hadith namely source , the declared a hadees sahi if it had complete chain of narration. The did not examine the content of the hadees.
Everybody knows that there were munafaqeen in every period of Islam what if the manafaqeen created hadees with complete chain of narration with fake content ? There are scholars in these days who are examining hadees in this light also.

Yusuf Ali:

[004:119]  "I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by God." Whoever, forsaking God, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest.

Transliteration:

[004:119]  Walaodillannahum walaomanniyannahum walaamurannahum falayubattikunna athana al-anAAami walaamurannahum falayughayyirunna khalqa Allahi waman yattakhithi alshshaytana waliyyan min dooni Allahi faqad khasira khusranan mubeenan
