Ms Excel: Please Advice Me Promptly

i am working in MS EXCEL.Can any person advice me about MINUS OR SUBTRACT SYMBOL.All other forumalas are avilable but i can not find MINUS OR SUBTRACT.this is MS EXCEL 2007.Pls advice me promptly.In excecl what words is USING -.

Goodman bhai, you can use function named SUM for both addition and substraction.

for example. you have A1 = 15 and B1 = 10 then write in C1

  =A1-B1 and you will get C1 = 5

excel formula....

goodman formulas menu mai dekho, ya phir F1 press kar k help lay lo aur word khud hi dhond lo...

plus k liye +
minus k liye -

agar tum excel mai is tara likho gay   +2-1    to correct answer aye ga...
=sum(2+90)-2
is mai 2 minus ho jaeyga...

                      Aslam-o-Alaikum,
Seemi behan aap ne formula's sahi likhey hein magar in ki tarteeb yun hogi

For example Column A mein  aur Row 1 mein Value hai 15 Column B mein Row 1 mein value hai 10 tu Column C mein(Ya kahin b) aap yun likhein gay =sum(A1:B1)

Seemi behan bura na maniye ga...plz yeh na samjiye ga k muje ziada ata hai ..no no ...

yarr yea to ma sab janta hoo aur ma implementation ker chuka hoo.agar app MS EXCEL KEE SCREEN per forumal BAR dekhay too waha FX LEKHA HOWA.MA WAHA SAY JANNAT CHATA HOO KAY SUBTRACTION AUR MINUS KAY LIYAY KIYA WORD USE HA.

Forumal can be done with Brackets and without Brackets .Computer automatically consider on it.

I gave you an exmple

          I gave you an example by writing so =sum(A1:B1) but if you want to add or subtract just configure like this...   =sum(A1-B1)

But for add the same as i wrote =sum(A1:B1)

for Multiplication   =sum(A1*B1)

Goodman bhai, + and - operations are so simple, so Microsoft didn't include formula for substratction but for addition you can use SUM().

@Jaffar bhai..... He is asking about Substraction not for addition.

I totally agree with you  seemi jee that MS did not include formula but MS EXCEL also take addition as SUM.he also do not take MINUS OR SUBTRATION Forumla like this

=Minus or Sub (b3:c3)

In microsfot excel sheet this thing must beee....

Goodman bhai, first enter your data. like

A1 = 40         B1 = 10

A2 = 30         B2 = 10

A3 = 40        B3  = 15

then write in C1   =A1-B1

then in C1, you will get 30

Then select C1 and bring cursor at the right bottom cornor of cell C1. Cursir will become a black + sign instead of white. Then press left mouse button and drag down upto C3 and then leave the mouse button.. Your formula will be pasted with asnwers

C1 = 30

C2 = 20

C3 = 25

try it.

For developing a website, you dont need any algorithm, but you need a site map that is actually an architecture menas, how your site pages will redirect and how user will navigate through the site.

secondly, you need some good web designing skills and profieciency on web designig tools like Dreamweaver, Flash, Frontpage etc.... and for more advanced sites you need PHP, ASP.NET, JSP etc...

but for simple start, you can go at Geocities that is a Yahoo based service and they will provide you builtin web designing support and you can design your wersite by some clicks.

seemi jee of course i have a site map .But i have to command on these softwares.

Of course i will also visit Geocities also.But better thing is to build the site on these softwares.
