re: private messaging

This forum is made specially for those people who can not share there personal problem with every one (including their friends and family members). Most of them want privacy and to hide there identity (we also encourage them). So we don't want private messaging in this forum.

But we also love our members and don't want to refuse them, so we will start private messaging if the want.

i totally agree that there should be a section for private messages..ppl who wnt to share their probs and experiences or evn just frndp with others...should be most welcomed on this section..

otherwise other ppl   can keep their identity as a secret!

Agreed but i think if some one here ask any question then no one know him or her thats y no one feel shame to ask any type of question and I think if private messages option is open here then many non-serious person use it wrongly.

Your stance about the nature of these forums and the issues discussed is right when it comes to keeping the annonymity of the forum members. But I am sure all the members who visit these forums are matured enough to protect their annonymity and their privacy themselves and save themselves from sextual predators and perverts.

So the idea of adding pm is not bad and I vote for it to be added.

   My vote is also in favour of adding the email exchange system.  However, I have a suggestion.  Moderator can establish a feature where every one add their list  privately,  of ppl they want to talk.  If two ppls desire match then modertaor can let them exchange e-mails.  This will not everyonebe able to see the unwanted ppls  mails. 

   For example I have a hidden list in which I like to talk to billi or beautystar.  If moderator sees my name also mentioned in their hidden wish list then he should let us exchange e-mail adresses.  Otherwise if suppose I have beautystar on my list and he does not have me on his list then moderator will not allow me to get his mail adress.

So will be waiting for the feature added.

You can exchange email address in PM/IM with the person you are having pm/im discussion if you wish. pm/im is not visible to other members your pm/im session is only visible to the person with whom you are having pm/im.

If someone abuses the pm/im with you , you will be able to block that person.

However,

  I have thought about it again and I think e-mail echange system will lessen the trafic on the forum as ppl will just come here to get some e-mail adresses and that is it. 

So I think, in the case of private messaging it should be done only after u login on the forum and then open yr account.  For example, I have name of some ppl ppl on my list I want to talk privately.  I should have a feature in my account on this forum through which I will be able to exchange my e-mail messages privately with those ppl, but still, I WILL NOT be able to see their E-Mail adress.  This way it will be easy to have a private conversation with the security and protection.  Since ppl can still misuse the site destroying the original purpose of educationg the members and other pll.  So I believe this should be the best way, if Moderator is willing to add the feature.

pinky ur idea is difficult to follow..bt nt bad..however i would still stick to the same thing..that there should be a section in the profile where ppl can add their email ids..and there should be seperate section in the website where im or pm should be allowed between all members of the forum...

as ppl who dnt wnt to give out their email addresses can still have an acces to live talk or chat with other ppl
