Masturbation.
Dear sister,
Here are the answers to your question.
Psychogenic pain is harmful in the sense that it keeps the person worried all the time that they may have a certain disease. Lack of improvement in pain with medications leads to the feelings of anxiety and frustration and the person starts to think that there is really something seriously wrong with them.
Regarding masturbation, the excess of everything is bad. I believe you are not inserting anything up your vagina and just doing it externally. While it would not effect you inner reproductive organs, but still, the feelings of guilt associated masturbation may cause you to have low self esteem and feelings of inferiority and lack of control.
You asked me regarding what happens during masturbation. Basically, masturbation brings about a lot of changes in the body and in the brain. Changes in the body include excessive secretions (the white or transparent discharge that you mentioned ), which in reality is our body’s response to make it ready for intercourse, as the body is stimulated sexually during masturbation. Another change in females is contractions of the uterus ( not harmful unless the woman is pregnant). Changes in the brain include the release of a chemical called Dopamine in the brain. The function of Dopamine is that it causes pleasurable feelings and that is why masturbation is associated with these pleasurable and lustful feelings. However, Dopamine is a habit forming chemical. The release of dopamine during masturbation is among one of the reasons why masturbation is so habit forming and difficult to overcome. Dopamine is the same chemical that is also released during cigarettesmoking ( that is why it is difficult to overcome smoking habit).
but i want to clear smthng,as i left masturbation thn for many days i hd the same white thick discharge ,even i dont masturbate.nd i remember, whn i did tht sin, after that there was thin hot fluid discharge,,,,whts the difference btween the two?nd that thick fluid discharge any tym, initially 4-5 times a day....but nw its not so frequent ,whts this actually?does it cause any harm?
another question is that hw much our thoughts impact our body functions?

Masturbation.
Dear sister,
I just wrote an article on this forum regarding the physical and psychiatric effects of masturbation in males and females You may find it useful. Its titled:
Too much porn and masturbation: Physical and psychiatric effects.
The link to the article is:
--
You may find the article on the left of this page inthe red coloredMedical Forum Categories tab( click on Articles). Or, you can paste the link in the search forum box.
This article discusses medical and emotional/psychiatric issues related to masturbation in detail. You may find the answers to some of your questions there as well.
Anyway, coming back to your questions:
The difference between the 2 types of fluid is that the fluid that is released soon after masturbation is thinand warm because it has just been produced and is gushing out causing it to be thin and warm. When you stopped masturbation, occassionally you may still have lustful and erotic thoughts which stillcaused the production of the fluid ( because of the sexual thoughts) but since you were not masturbating, the fluid did not come out rightaway, but rather came out late( that’s why it wasn’t warm) and since it had the time to settlle inside your vagina for some time ( rather than coming out rightaway), it became thick.
Your second question is regarding how much our thoughts impact our body functions, and the answer is “ A LOT”. Please know that our brain is a very powerful organ and influences pretty much all the other organs and their functions. Some examples of this would be feelings of dry mouth when we are anxious, rapid heartbeat when we feel scared, feeling tired when we are depressed, feelings of psychogenic pain in our body etc..And more specifically, sometimes we start to fear that we may have a disease, and just a few days later, we tend to experience some symptoms of that disease.
However, the bottom line is that some people are more suggestible to what their thoughts are telling them and these would be the people that would experience more of these symptoms.
nd i want to ask k kya hamari positive thoughts bhi utni hi effective and strong hoti hain, jitni k negitive thoughts nd hum apni negative nd fearful thoughts ko positive nd confident thoughts mai keise convert ker sakte hain?nd agar koi person jo apni life k kuch hisay mai depress raha ho agar wo positive thinking build up kernay mai successful ho jaey, tou unn negative thoughts k impact khatam ho jatay hain?nd then wo personal bilkul normal ho jata hay?

Negative thoughts.
Yes absolutely.
Hamari thoughts, chaha negative hon ya positive, bohot strong hoti hain. It is upto us to decide what kind of thinkling we choose to have.
Agar ham apni thoughts ko negative rakhain ga to uska effects bhi negative hi aain gay ( for example feeling depressed etc), aur agar hamari thoughts positive hon gi to hamara mood achaa raha gai, and we would feel upbeat.
Generally hamain yeh lagta hai ka hamari thoughts hamara zahan main khod say hi aa jati hain aur hamain apni thoughts par control nahin . This is not true. It is absolutely possible to change our thoughts. In order to change our thoughts, first we have to see the relationship between our thoughts and feelings ( they are 2 very different things). This is how we can do this:
As I said before, our thoughts effect our mood. Every day, all of us have moments where we have either a strong negative feeling ( feeling disappointed), or a strong positive feeling ( feeling happy). Whenever we feel a strong positive or negative feeling, we should stop for a moment and pay attention to what thoughts we are having at that time that are leading to that strong feeling. Once we recognize what our thoughts are , and we see the impact our thoughts have on our feelings, we can make a conscious effort on monitoring our thoughts more closely and changing our negative thoughts into positive thoughts. This is not easy to do but something that gets better with practice.

zoya ali
even though i haven't gone through all the posts on this topic, i would share my insight on it.This issue has been discussed on this forum for a million and half times.Your problem, as u yourself have mentioned, is purely psychological.Masturbation(external) is not harmfull.in fact it helps u discover ur sexuality.dont worry u r normal.some people on this forum has the habit of making mountain outta molehill and confusing others and worst making them guilty.
keep urself mentally fresh and dont think about ur guilt too much.as for as religion is considered,it is no where mentioned in the Quran and Hadith that it is forbidden.scholars have difference of opinion on it.
THNX FOR RPLY BUT APP NE BTAYA NAE K VAGINAL INFECTION K KYA SYMPTOMS HOTAY HAIN ACTUALLY M SCARED CZ OF A WORSE INCIDENT A LONG TYM AGO PLZ RPLY IN DETAIL

Dear sister,
Here are the answers to your questions:
The burning on urination could be a symptom of urinary tract infection. Urinary tract infections are very common in females, and are very easily treated with antibiotics. If you don't have this burning right now, then you probably do not have any infection at this time. Just make sure you drink plenty of water, which will help keep your urinary tract free and clear of bacteria.
Your second question was about whether any type of abdominal pain is harmful. The answer of course would depend upon the underlying cause of pain. However, most abdominal pains are generally self limited ( khud hi theek ho jaate hain) and get better in 1-2 days.
You also asked about vaginal discharge. Generally, if there is no smell, then it most likely is OK.
salam, thnx alottttttttttttttttttt Dr. for ur kind nd quick rply.but let me tell u that it happens very rarely that i feel burning urination,so i think its jst cz of less water consumption.but now a days there is another pblem i want to share wid u and want ur guidance, altough Alhamdulilah i have left that sin, totally but still its happening to me that whenever i think abt anything wrong,or listen something even a small stimulus is enough for me to have that feelings....but problem is that all this happen unintentially and most of the tym followed by abdominal pain,,,,,most of the tym,i even donot watch tv much n m soo depressed cz of this,,,,even i dont watch any thing wrong, but i told u even a small stimulus or any friction cause this,,,,,m soo tnz and want to ask ,altough u have told me earlier but once more i want to ask is this all cz of uterus contraction?and these rapid uterus contractions are harmful?and why do it contracts?and wht it causes in our body?plz ensure me m jst nomal.....and is this happen to every body?

Uterus contractions:
Dear sister,
The symptoms that you are describing are entirely normal. Contractions of uterus and pelvic muscles when having lustful and erotic thoughts is a normal and natural thing. It is good that you are not sexually overstimulating yourself by watching inappropriate stuff on TV. All of us have erotic thoughts at some time, and our body responds in a certain way when having those thoughts, for example females experiencing contractions down there. Again, it is nothing to worry about and a completely normal thing.

Zoya Ali:
Dear sister,
How are you?
As I had mentioned to you before the symptoms you have are most likely psychosomatic in nature. Psychosomatic symptoms are generally caused by excessive anxiety, guilt or worries, and generally do not have a physical explaination for their occurance. Nonethelss, they are very real and cause a lot of confusion in the mind of the affected person. They do not cause any physical harm, but the effected person requires lots of reassurances. Regular exercise, good sleep habits, well balanced diet, and relaxation strategies like deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation go a long way towards relieving those symptoms.
thnx for replying.ya m fyn,,,,,but again there is something to ask,,,,,but for that u have to believe whtever m saying is truth,,,,i have left that sin for a long time,,,and i never of commiting it again,,,,but recently,unfortunately......i unintentionally,,,did it after a long time....and when i did it,,,,i got confused, muchhhh tnz of comitting it again ,got depressed....felt extreme guilt again,,,,so even after getting that lust i was keep doing it again and again for a longer time ......and i knw its a little bit odd but as m so tnz so i have to ask,,,,and being a nice person u have to answer me kindly and honestly.....when i did it for a longer time in stress i at once realize that i had used mospel(a lotion to keep the mosqitoes away)on my hands......thn i was sooooooooooo tnz.....i properly wash up but still tnz......so i want to ask:
1.doing mastarbation for a longer time even after getting lust (for upto 25-30 min.)will cause any harm,,,,sexually?????
2.as i forgot i had applied that lotion on my hand nd did that sin.....is it harmful, sexually(altough i dont feel any itching r burning)?????
Altough i have firmly decided not to do it ever again,May Allah keep me away from this sin......i dnt knw how come i did this,,,,and now m again in depression that why i did it and wondering,,,m i normal,sexually....
