Birth Control

Salam
I am getting married soon InshAllah and We want to avoid pregnancy for first two years. My question is I am living outside Pakistan and I will come on my wedding week, what is the best method to control birth, I am planning to use condom but also want my future wife to take pills for safe side. But I will meet her after wedding can she start medication after we having intercourse using condom or she need to start pills before marriage because it might not possible for her to consult any doctor before wedding
Thanks in Advance

Birth Control Methods:

Each contraceptive measure has got its own pros and cons. Generally speaking, condom use has a failure rate of anywhere from 2%( with perfect use) to approximately 15% with regular use, per year. Birth control pills have a failure rate of approximately 5% per year. Therefore, at first glance, birth control pills may appear to be a better option, given a 5% failure rate compared to 15% with the regular ( not perfect) use of condoms, however, birth control pills also have several side effects and may not be a viable option for many women.

Hopefully with these facts laid out in front of you, it would be easy for you to make your decision. But please bear in mind that no contraceptive measure is 100% successful in preventing pregnancy.
