Birth Control Methods:
Each contraceptive measure has got its own pros and cons. Generally speaking, condom use has a failure rate of anywhere from 2%( with perfect use) to approximately 15% with regular use, per year. Birth control pills have a failure rate of approximately 5% per year. Therefore, at first glance, birth control pills may appear to be a better option, given a 5% failure rate compared to 15% with the regular ( not perfect) use of condoms, however, birth control pills also have several side effects and may not be a viable option for many women. Hopefully with these facts laid out in front of you, it would be easy for you to make your decision. But please bear in mind that no contraceptive measure is 100% successful in preventing pregnancy.
