be khabr ban k sab khaber rakhiyay

chahay nazrain hon asmano per

paon lekin zameen per rakhiyay

mujh dil main ager basan ahai

aik sehra ko apnay gher rakhiyay

koi nasha ho toot jata hai

kab talak khud ko be khabar rakhiyay

janay kis waqt kooch kerna ho

apna saman mukhtasir rakhiyay
