gaajar ka halwa on the demand of yafsheen :)

AS SALAM O ALIKUM

here m shareing the recipy of gajarr ka halwa ....... this is vert tastey sweet dish ...:) well every sweet diash is tastey for me b.c i love sweet dishes :)


Ingredients:

* 1/2 kg carrots
* 1 cup milk (boiled)
* 1 cup sugar or to taste
* a pinch of cardamom powder
* 2 tbsp ghee

Garnishing ingredients:

* 10 cashewnuts
* 10 badam (optional)
* 10 pista (optional)

Method:

  1. Wash, peel and grate the carrots.
  2. Heat a pan with 1 tbsp of ghee and roast the garnishing ingredients and keep aside.
  3. Add the remaining ghee and heat.
  4. Put the grated carrot and saute on low flame till the raw smell disappears.
  5. Add milk and boil on low flame till thick.
  6. Once it's starts thickening add sugar and stir continuously.
  7. Cook on low flame for further thickness.
  8. Add cardamom powder and stir continuously till the ghee separates from the mixture.
  9. Finally garnish with  garnishing ingredients.
  10. Carrot halwa or gajar ka halwa is ready to serve.
  11. u can also add walnuts in garnishig ..... i personaly only like wal nuts in tha garnishing no any other dry fruits
  12. so try it ang enjoy it lusH sweet diah is here for u

thank u sooooooo much. Plz ye batay k, agr hum milk, avoid kare tu ..? Q k milk se halwa thoda soft ho jata h. Aisa kya krna chahiye k wo thoda hard bhi lage(tight) ,or bht zyada meetha bhi na ho??

AS SALAM OALIKUM

ya u can avoid milk ........aap sirf aaisa ba kar sakti hain kay 2 table spoon oil ya ghe main gajar ko (grated carrot) ko bhoon lain or jab aadha bhun jahay to is main suger add karain .suger ka b koi hard n fast rule nahi hai aap apnay taste kay hisab se add kar sakti hain jitna aap chahain 9 waisay mujhay mujhay ziada meetha pasand hai :) ) or phir jab is ka pni khushk ho jay to is ki gartnishing kar dain or khoye wagaira jo add karna ho wo add kar dain ........is tarha ye hard rahay ga or jaisa aap chahti hain waisa hi banay ga ;)
