aur mujhay testosterone ke bare mein batain..k iss ki normal range kitni hoti hai..matlab low aur high ka kaise pata chalta hai?

ab mein yeh poochna chahti hoon..agar meri reports bhi normal hai..to phir kya wajha hai.k pregnency nahi ho rahi...

aur jo pehli reports thi..us mein aur n mein kya farq hai...

phir lahore k aik bohat achay doctor hain..unhon ne mujhay yeh sare test likh ker diye...aur phir tab se proper ilaj kerwa rahi hoon...abhi tak pregnency nahi hui...

mein ne kal doctor se time liya..HSG tubal potency k liye..us ne mujhay friday ka time de diya..aur mere periods ka seven day ban raha hai..mein unhay yeh bataya bhi..woh kehti hain..koi masla nahi hai..

aap plz batain,kperiods k 7th day koi masla to nahi ho gha...

HSG generally period kay stop hona kay within 2-5 days mein kiya jaata hai, magar 7th day would be OK too. HSG kiyonkeh aik XRAY hai, isliya definetely ovulation say pehla karwana chahye. Iski wajah yeh hai keh agar ovulation ho aur by chance pregnancy ho gai ho( jska abhee kisi ko patah bhee nah chala ho because the pregnancy would be only 1or 2 days old) aur iska foran baad yeh HSG karwain to XRAYS say baby ko nuqsaan ponhcha gaa aur abortion ho jai gaa. Isi liya yeh periods stop hona kay baad jitna jaldi karwa lain behtar hai.

Nidaa,ik aur baat. Aap no ooper apni post mein likha hai keh aap ko bataya gaya hai keh jab tak dopergin khaian ,pregnancy nahin hoti. This is not true. The fact is agar prolactin level high ho to pregnancy ka liya dopergin khana zaroori hoti hai, aur us waqt tak khani parti hai jab tak pregnancy nah ho jai. Yeh zaroor hai keh jaisa he pregnancy ka patah chala, dopergin stop kar deni chahye ( because it can effect the baby).

AOA...i found this thread v informative.. thats why i decided to post my problem here.. im married for 2 years,haven't concieved yet...i went to a doc in PAK after 1 year and she gave me clomiphene 50 mg for 3 months.. i took it for 1 month only bcoz husband has to got out of country... now there was some problem in my periods,,they started coming late every month for almost 10-15 days late than actual date...

doctor wanted my harmone test on day 3 of my period and here is the report,

estradiol... 24.50 pg/ml

FSH... 5.93 mIU/ml

LH... 9.93 mIU/mL

she didn't explained my reports much except that LH and FSH levels are elevated.. she did ultasound but said its ok...

she gave me medicine for 3 successive months.. Primoult Nor 10 mg from CD 16-25

some explanation about my situation would be much appreciated doc.. i even request hasna and nida to say something about my case as im new here and need some guidance

Let me first explain your test results:

Estradiol levels: Your levels are low. The lower limit is generally 25. So your levels are only very slightly below normal.

If you look at your FSH and LH levels individually, they are both within normal limits. However, individual LH and FSH levels are of less importance. What is more important is the ratio of LH/FSH. ( How high the LH is, as compared to FSH). Normal ratio should be 1 ( which means that LH and FSH values should be equal to each other). However, your ratio is 1.67 ( meaning you have a lot more LH in your system than it should be). If this trend continues, it may cause some problems in the future.

Besides that, in order to get a more clear understanding of your situation, I need some clarifications. I am not sure from your post how long ago these labs were drawn, ( before or after clomid or Primolut). Were these tests done recently or a year ago? Have you had any other labs?

firstly to answer your questions; i took clomiphene for 1 month only i.e.last year...and then couldn't continue due to some reasons..after 4 months i started having the problem of late periods...so last month (june), i went to doc and explained it all..she firstly did ultrasound, said its ok...then gave me primoult to induce periods and asked to have a harmone test done on CD 3..

these results are of last month and in june i started ist round of primoult for 10 days..(she said 3 successive months)...apart from that i had no other tests, just normal blood range test..

now doctor, i need to know that what problems elevated LH could create in future for me??? and secondly, does this medication (Primoult for 3 months) really helps?? i have read on net that stress often creates harmonal imbalance and makes it difficult to concieve..is it all true??

Some more questions for you:

Before taking clomid for one month, were your periods regular? Or the periods became irregular after taking the clomid? I am assuming there was some irregularity and that was why the doctor had prescribed clomid, but just wanted to confirm.

You mentioned that these were the only tests that you had. For evaluation of infertility, several other tests are indicated as well, inlcuding TSH levels, prolactin levels, and several others that I had mentioned in the earlier posts on this thread. Has your doctor considered doing these?

Primolut ( a synthetic progesterone) is a birth control pill that is prescribed to you to help make your periods regular, with the hope that you will eventually become pregnant. If you do not have any major gynecological complications ( which we do not know yet since all your lab tests have not been done), chances are that your periods would become regular, increasing the chances of pregnancy.

If LH continues to rise in relation to FSH, then it could potentially lead to development of polycystic ovarian syndrome ( PCOS). However, the fact that your ultrasound was normal and did not show cysts in your ovaries is good.

And yes, stress and anxiety definitely create hormonal imbalance and menstrual difficulties, making conceiving dificult.

actually after 1st year of marriage my mother in law said to go for checkup even though i stayed with my husband for 5 months only.. doctor said to have my husband's SA done, and after the report being satisfactory, she prescribed clomiphene for 3 months.. my periods were regular before n after taking only 1 month of clomiphene... i had stress issues 3-4 months later reagarding 2nd poor SA report of my husband..and during his treatment i started noticing that periods r becoming irregular.. there was not a exact date for my periods but 2-3 weeks delay was never there before... so that was the reason,hopefully i had explained well..

no, my doctor have not said for any lab tests yet...ultrasound was normal filhaal...she says that i will see u now when i get your husbands satisfactory SA report...so in the meantime, im just trying to resolve these harmonal issues and trying not to take much stress so as not to worsen the situation..

thankyou so much doctor for explaining my questions well..at least now i know that what medicine im taking will be effective for me...

i know some relaxation techniques...i even tried 13 PMR when i learned it in college days..but it seems a long time ago now... i never thought of actually applying them in real life situations... anyways, thanks for reminding me...

Deep abdominal breathing and progressive muscle relaxation do work wonders. We just have to practice them enough that they become second nature so that we don't have to put in any mental effort in doing them when we need them.

Aam tor par yeh rukawat ovaries ke tubes ( Fallopian tubes) mein hoti hai. Aap ka HSG ke report ka mutabiq aap ke donon tubes normal hain, aur koi obstruction (rukawat)
nahin hai.
Aap ke donon ovaries mein jo normal say zyada taadad mein "developing follicles" bataye gaye hain, woh actually immature eggs hain ( Aisa kabhe kabhar clomiphene khane ke wajah say hota hai).
