i have a question from drs and members.
me last 1and half year se medicine lay rhi hu hormones ki.jb tk medicine li mjy periods ate rhy aur periods ka flow b theek rha laikin abhi 2month se mene koi b medicine nhi use ki hai to mjy periods khul k nhi horhy he bht light bleeding hia even k sppoting jaisay hi hai.
urine b dark colour me arha ahi aur sath burning sensation b hai.
aur ek bat mjy ovary me ek saal se cyst b hai,kindly help me k mjy kia krna chahye. |

Irregular periods. Dear sister, I just saw your request for answer on another post. It is very common for menses to remain light for several months (6 months to a year sometimes) after discontinuing the hormone pills. Aap ka second question dark urine aur burning sensation kay baare main hai. Most likely, you have a urinary tract infection (very common in young women). Aap water zyada piya karain. You also need a Urine DR test. Agar infection hai to antibiotics will be needed.
Aap na mention kiya hai kay aap ki ovary main cyst hai. Aap na apni ovaries ka ultrasound kub last time karwaya tha? Aur cyst aik ovary main hai, ya both ovaries main? Aur cyst ka size kitna cm tha according to ultrasound? Kya aap ko polycystic ovaries to nahin? All these can cause abnormal menses. |

reply me hur month apni vaginal ultrasound krwati hu,mjy ek hi ovary me ek hi cyst hia jiska size 4cm hai.aur ye size pechlay 8month se same hi hai na bhrta hai aur na hi kam hota hai.
isiki waja se dr ne mjy operation ka b kha hai jo me nhi krwana chahti.yes i have PCOS laikin isse relieif kaisay mile gi.
aj b mera ultrasound hua ahi cyst is still there same size hi hai.
dr ne metfomin prescribe ki hai.kia ye medicine se cyst hutam hojayegi...........? |

Irregular periods and PCOS. Dear sister,
Are you sure you only have one cyst, because polycystic ovaries main multiple cysts hoti hain. Maybe, there is a large cyst and the then there are several others that are small.
Anyway, polycystic ovaries aik common condition hai jo almost 5-10%young women main hoti hai. The question is, what to do about this and I will answer that now. Most of the time, women with PCOS are overweight. Mujha nahin pata kay aap ka weight kya hai, magar agar aap overweight hain to first thing you should do is to watch your diet and try to reduce your weight. Kya aap exercise karti hain? Menstrual irregularity PCOS main commonly hoti hai, and generally birth control pills are prescribed for that. Acne of face is also very common. Also, PCOS may hormonal imbalance ki wajah sa male hormones ki excess ho jaati ha jiski wajah say chehra par baal, haathon aur taangon par baal aur sometimes chest par baal aa jatay hain. Insulin imbalance ki wajah sa blood sugar barh jaati ha jiski wajah say doctors metformin prescribe kartay hain, jaisa aap ki doctor na kya hai.
Another common symptom in PCOS is psychiatric problems. Doctors often forget to ask about these. Symptoms include depression, anxiety, anger, jhunjhlahat, poor concentration and difficulty making important decisions. Kya aap ko aisee to koi problem nahin?
Agar weight reduction aur doosri jo cheezain main na batai hain,unsay faida na ho to surgery is the last option. Another question is that kay kya aap pregnant hona chahti hain? if yes to there are medicines that can help you get pregnant( I can not mention any medicine name here), magar aap apni doctor say pooch sakti hain.

mene last year feb me clomid use ki laikin mensis k 14day per egg released nhi hua dr ne duphaston prescribe ki jisse mjy periods agye aur phir jb periods me dr k pass gai to usne vaginal ultrasound me btaya k cyst hai jo k 6cm thi.phir mjy birthcontrol pills di ek month k liye aur phir duphaston hi prescribe ki.
hur month regular check up k liye jati rhi phri cyst 2cm km hui aur 4cm reh gai jo k still 8month se yehi size hai.me is duran hormones ki medicien b laiti hri hu. test krwaya to phir dr ne btaya k hormones sahi nhi huye he.again mjy dopergin aur thyrox 25ug prescribe krdi hai.
me operation nhi krwana chahti hu.kia metformon se cyst hutam hojaye gi, last 2years me mera weight bhr gya hai ap over weight keh sakty he noy im 66kg with 5.3height and im 24years old.
mjy aisa koi symptoms nhi he jaisay apne mention kiye he.ji hmm me pregnant hi hona chahti thi jiswaja se clomid khai aur hgc ka injec b lgwaya laikin egg time per released nhi hua.
ji hmm dr ne mjy kha hia k 2month k bad mjy clomid dy gy aur 2month k liye metformin prescribe ki hai dr ne kha hai k isse b cyst hutam hojati he.aur dubara clomid khane se agur cyst hui to operation.
ek aur sawal k cyst k operation k bad pregnany hone k kitne chance hoty he.

Irregular periods. Dear sister,
Kya aap mujha apni lab results bata sakti hain. Agar aap mujha following lab results bata dain to main aap ko bahtar mashwara da sakta hoon: FSH level LH level Testosterone level DHEA level TSH level T3 and T4 level Prolactin level. Aap na bataya ha kay doctor na aap ko dopergin aur thyrox prescribe ki hain. Dopergin us waqt prescribe karta hain jab prolactin level high hoon( which will also cause abnormal menses,infertility in some cases). Thyrox abnormal thyroid function main prescribe karta hain( this is another reason for irregular menses aur infertility). In 2 abnormalities ka PCOS say koi relation nahain hai, except kay all of them cause menstrual irregularity.
Aap na metformin kay baara ma poocha hai. Yes, it is commonly used in PCOS and indirectly reduces the symptoms of PCOS. Jahan tak surgery ka baad pregnancy ka sawal hai, to good news yeh hai kay agar symptoms waqai cysts ki wajah sa hain, aur surgery ka zaria cyst remove kar di jaya aur ovary ka remaining portion normal ho aur hormones regularize ho jain to pregnancy kay chances bohat ache hain. Aap agar apni labs mujha bata dain to main zyada clearly aap ko bata sakta hoon. Good luck!

inmese sirf ek ka mjy maloom hai prolactin jo k 32 hai. me saudi arab me rehti hu aur yha jis hospital se me treatment krwa rhi hu wo sab recods apne pass hi rkhty he.mene dr se prolactin ka pucha tha jo k dr ne btaya k 32 hai.
aur thyroid ka kha tha k thora hi imbalance hai.dr ne mjy hormones ki medicines di he taky cyst or pcos ki waja se mjy mensis nhi stop ho aur hormones b theek hojaye.
mjy cyst ki waja se koi b jismani tkleef nhi hai mjy ek saal se kbhi b cyst wali jaga me drd b nhi hau hai.apak kia hyaal hai me conceive nhi krparhi ye cyst ki waja se hai ya hormones ki waja se hai.
aur kia cyst hormones b produce krti he jisse pregnancy nhi hoti hai.aur hormones b balance nhi hoty he?

Aap ka prolactin level 32 mildly elevated hai, bohat zyada high nahin hai. Kya yah level dopergin start karnay ka baad ka hai ya pahla ka? By the way, are you familiar with what prolactin is and how high levels of prolactin can cause difficulty in getting pregnant, or do you want me to explain in simple terms?
Agar app apni doctor say lab results pooch lain to easy ho jai. Yahaan States main bhi records hospital hi rakhta hai, magar patient records request kar sakta hain. Baghair labs kay yeh batana thora difficult hai ka aap conceive nahin kar pa rahi hain iski wajah ovarian hormones hain ya doosra hormones( like prolactin aur thyroid hormones which ofcourse are not secreted by ovaries).
Aap na likha hai kay aap ko cyst ki wajah sa koi pain nahin hai. Most ovarian cysts do not cause any pain, only menstrual abnormalities.
Agar aap apni doctor say labs pata kar lain to kaafi cheezain clear ho jain. And very important, agar aap mujha yah bata dain kay 32 prolactin level dopergin start karnay ka baad ka hai ya pahla kaa, kyonke elevated prolactin levels definitely cause difficulties in getting pregnant. Irregular periods,PCOS. Dear sister,
I wanted to mention a few things to you.
1). Aap na kaha hai kay aap ko aik hi cyst hai ovary main( and not multiple cysts). Poly cystic ovarian syndrome( PCOS) main almost always multiple cysts hoti hain. The word "Poly" means many.
2). Second cheez yeh ka PCOS main almost always male hormones high hota hain. Is wajah sa excess body hair( chehra, hath, legs, chest) and acne on face is almost always present. Aap na bataya hai kaa aap ko aisay bhi koi symptoms nahin hain.
3). I am a little surprised kay abhi tak aap ka FSH, LH, Testosterone and DHEA levels nahin check hoa. These tests are almost always done in PCOS. Testosterone and DHEA levels are the male hormones that I mentioned in section 2 above, and they would almost always be high in PCOS.
4). Prolactin level 32 is elevated only slightly. It is probably not high enough to cause irregular menses. Kya aap ko high prolactin level kay jo khaas symptoms hota hain, un main say koi hain?
5). Kya abhi tak aap ki cyst aspiration hoi hai( needle daal kar cyst ka fluid nikal kar microscopic exam kia jaata hai).

mjy aksar peep wale pimples hojate he face per.iskay ilawa body k kisi hisay per nhi he.
meri abhi tk cyst aspiration nhi hui hai.dr ne kha tha laikin mene hud nhi krwai becoause mere inlaws pk se aye huye he aur inki mjoodgi me me operation or cyst aspiration nhi krwana chahti.
isliye mene dr ko b btaya tha k me abhi nhi krwa sakti.t dr ne kha k its ok koi prob nhi hai bad me kr laygy.
aur ye bat clear hai k mjy sirf ek hi cyst hai left ovary me meri dosri ovary bilkul sahi hai aur dr k kehne k mutabaq healthy b hai,
dr ne mjy btaya tha k prolactin high hoto egg healthy nhi bnta hai aur ovolution b nhi hoti hai agur ho b to egg mature nhi hota hai.isliye jb tk ye normal nhi hoga pregnancy nhi hoti.
thyroid b to high haina mera mere 2test hi hoty he hur 4month k bad ya jb b dr chahy krwati he.TSH aur sy.prolactin.
agur ek hi cyst ho to isko kia kehty he.kia ye PCOS me shumar nhi hota. |

Irregular periods. Dear sister,
PCOS main almost always multiple cysts hoti hain. Agar aik hi cyst ho to simply usko ovarian cyst kahain ga. Normally, ovarian cysts 1-2 months main disappear ho jaati haan. Agar cyst 3 or 4 months say zyada raha ( jaisa aap kay sath hai) to yah abnormal baat hai. Most cysts are filled with fluid jiski aspiration honi chahya to make sure everything is OK.
Aap ka thyroid hormones thora abnormal hain. This is also very common. Thyroid hormones ki abnormality kay main symptoms hain weight gain, feeling tired, sardi lagna, aur very importantly, irregular menses. However achi baat yeh ha kay abnormal thyroid function, treatment say always normal ho jaata hai.
Aap ka prolactin level bhi high hai.. Prolactin aik hormone hai jo brain main aik gland( pituitary gland ) say nikalta hai. Prolactin ka main function milk production hai. Dood pilana waali women main prolactin level high hota hai ( takay doodh ki production ho ska). Prolactin ka aik side effect kah lain, kay yeh ovulation nahin hona daita. ( Isi wajah say dood pilanay waali women ovulate nahin karteen aur generally pregnant nahin hotin). Kabhi kabhaar, pituitary gland ka abnormal over functioning ki wajah say non breast feeding women main bhi prolactin level high ho jaata hai, aur kabhi to itna high ho jaata hai jay breasts say milk secrete hona hsrow ho jaata hai. Kya aap ki doctor na pituitary gland ka lya CT scan ya MRI of brain bataya hai?
Aap na kaha ha kay aap ko body hair hain ( magar bachpan say). Iski 2 reasons ho sakti hai. 1). Excess of male hormones ( testosterone and DHEA because of abnormal female hormones). 2). Doosri wajah yeh ho sakti ha kay yeh hereditary (khandani) hain. Kya aap ki sister ya moom ko bhi hairs ki problem hai? |

laikin jb me ksa ayi to mjy ate hi periods ki prob shuru hogai.dr ne kha k climate change ki waja se hai med di laikin phir se 2month k bad late.aur ye silsila abhi tk aisay hi chul rha hai.jb shadi ko ek sal hua tb dr ne mjko pregnancy k liye medicine di clomid.1st time use se egg released hogya laikin usse next month month phir se late.
inshaAllah treatment se me theek hojaugi.kio k dr kehti he k me inshaAllah jaldi prge hongi.

Irregular periods. Dear sister,
Aap ko jo ovarian cyst hai, most likely isi ki wajah say menses main irregularity hai. 8 months say ovarian cyst kay barqarrar rehna definitely abnormal baat hai. Most women ko ovarian cysts approximately 2-3 months tak hi rehti hain. I do not think kay aap ko Poly cystic ovarian syndrome hai, magar baghair un labs ka jo main nay pehla batai then, yaqeen say kuch kehna mushkil hai. Main aap ko mushwara don ga kay aap apni doctor say poochain kay kya aap ki yeh labs hoi hain, aur agar nahin hoin to kya doctor yeh labs order kar sakti hain? Second baat yeh kay aap ki cyst ki aspiration honi chahye, aur behtar yeh ha kay aap is baray main zyada wait nah karain.
Single cyst aur polycystic ovarian syndrome kay symptoms common ho sakta hain, magar correct diagnosis bohat zaroori hai kyonka treatment will be somewhat different.
Aur allah ki zaat say achi umeed rakhyan. Inshallah, allah aapki tamam mushkilain hal karain gay. Again, my best wishes to you. |

ovarian cyst harmful nhi hoti hai laikin ye b hai k ye pregnant hone me rukawat hai.iski mjoodgi em pregnancy nhi hoti hai aur kuch cases me ho b jati hai.
cyst kai kai salo tk ovary me rehti he meri ek friend he usko dhai saal tk cyst rhi jbkay usko PCOS tha aur bhi mashaAllah wo preg b hai.cyst ko jate jate kafi arsa lgta hai.
cyst ki aspiration mene hud to nhi krwani na jb dr khy gi tbhi kio k dr kehti eh k pehlay hormones balance ho phir wo cyst ki trf aye gy.to is me mjy kuch ghalt nhi lgta hai.
dr ne pehlay din kha tha k infertility ka ilaaj lamba hota hai kmse km do saal ka arsa lg jata hia theek hone me kio k iska treatment slow hota hai.aur jaldi me kaam acha hone ki bjaye bura b hojata hai.
me agree with my dr opinions.and thanx for ur help and informations. dua me yaad rkhiye ga.
