Emergency contraception: Can It Delay My Menses?

 okay .. i had sex 10 days back and took ecp right after it but there's no sign of my periods,, i wanted to ask is it normal for my periods to get delay .. or its something abnormal ?

are there any chances of me being pregnant even after having ecp or i should just rela and wait for my periods ?

ECP: Can Use Of ECP Cause Menstrual Delay?

you are not supposed to get menses immediately after using ECP . Your menses will happen at or around expected time and yes they can be delayed its nothing to worry about.

If you have taken ECP within 24hours then you wont get pregnant however two pills are to be taken 12hours apart for full effect.

ummm .. i read the intrustion manual it had with it .. it said that 2 tablets have to be taken TOGETHER ... well my normal date for my menses has nw passed by .. well and yes i took ecp within two hours of my intercourse only ..

i checked the instructions again it said 2 tablets TOGETHER .. so i took it right .. well lets see .. i hope i get my menses soon..
