bint ji

Caesarean  k baad minimum bhi 2 years no pregnancy. 6 months tak weight waghra uthanay aur heavy kaam karnay se bhi avoid karain kyun k stiches heal up honay main time letay hain . Contraceptive wohi use karnay chahiyen jo aap ko suit karain . is k mutaliq aap ki gynecologist aap k chekup k baad behtar tor par giude kar sakti hain .
yahan pe Drs bhi aap ko better guide kardaingay insha Allah .

Re:

C section main pait ki layers ko kata jata hae jo k kafi thick hoti hain . Operation  k 6 months tak wounds internally heal up hotay hain. agar proper precaution liya jaye aur next pregnancy main acha gap ho tou next deliveries normal bhi ho sakti hain lekin mostly yeh hota hae k next pregnancy main dobara se weight gain karnay ki wajah se stiches pe asar parta hae . Isliye 9 months k start main hi again operation se hi delivery ki jati hae takay maan ya bachay ko nuqsan na ho. Is k ilawa yeh bhi hota hae k 9 mons pooray honay k baad bhi labour pains start nahi hotay aur C section karna par jata hae lekin agar koi masla na ho tou Drs ki last tak yehi koshish hoti hae k delivery normal ho.
yeh mera zaati experiene nahi hae isliye dr is baray main zyada behtar bata saktay hai .

Trial Of Normal Vaginal Delivery After Caesarean Section:

Vaginal Birth After first Caesarean section (V.B.A.C) is considered more safer than attempting a second caesarean section especially if the female gets pregnant minimum after 2years of her first pregnancy however as much more it could be is appreciated

The whole thing is to keep in consideration the Reason of the first caesarean section:

If the reason was such that it was limited to the first pregnancy then definitely vaginal birth is attempted for the female presenting at 2years and 9months or later for next delivery . For example: baby was lying upside down(breech presentation) ,    poor progress of first labour,    baby engulfed its waste, Female was underage (mother) and her pelvis was not formed properly etc...

If the reason was such that its going to repeat in second pregnancy then trial of normal vaginal delivery is not attempted. For example: mother pelvis shape is not the sort to have normal deliveries, placenta was adherent to the uterus or very low lying placenta ...etc..

So the decision of 2nd caesarean is on The gap from first pregnancy as well as the cause of 1st c-section. Gap is required to Bring Uterine Strength back to take load of labour pains. Healing completes within 3-6months that's not the issue.

Caesarean Section: when necessary?

choice of contraceptive after c-section

Bint apke age or operation ke baad best ha ap 2-3yr ka gap do. Doctor se mashwara kr k ap Low Dose Hormonal Contraceptive ke depot/intection arm mai rakhwa sakti ho agar 2yr tak ka gap required ho . . . Low dose hormone ke long term bohat kum side effect han agar ap breast feed kara rahe ho tou apke doctor apko type guide kar dainge

else condom aur safe period coitus method.

Har method har couple ke leye nai hota so ap khud doctor se mashwara karo

Agar ap munasib gap doge aur depending ke kya reason Thei apke C-section ke peh Next depend karta ha k apke normal ho sakti ha. . .

Reason of my C-section

Dear all,

Aap sab ki suggestions ka bohat shukria

actually we are living in Jaddah (Saudi Arabia)
We went for regular checkups, every thing was normal from the beginning till my last checkup,

Doctors told us that reason of my c-section was under age and tension

mujhay first pain meri due date say 13 days pehlay hi aagai thay, hospital jaanay per doctors nay admit kerlia aur then labor room lay gai.

wahan nurses nay bohat cooperate kia aur mujhay bohat himmat dilai lakin may bohat dari hoi thi mujhay yeh pata laga tha k bohat pain hoti hai k moat yaad aajati hai, may pains ko wapis ooper khainch laiti thi, 3 hours tak yehi hota raha
in the end may nay aik doctor say yeh kehtay hoay sona k "yeh primary hai is liay nahi hoga" and then mujhay kuch yaad nahi, I was unconscious.

immature pelvis and poor labour progress.

Bint, medically 18yr se kum age main yehe expect kya jata ha k pelvis labour k leye mature nai . . Agar ye wajah thei apke ya apke labour ke itni poor progress thei keh baby pelvis mai fix nai ho ra tha jo primi mai problem ho jata ha esp underage primi mai tou don't worry u have a chance of next normal delivery God willingly . . . . . . . . . . Plus aap gap b karna 2-3yr ka.

a case study

Hamaray relatives main aik 29 yrs female ki 1st delivery normal howi... koi 1.5 saal gap k baad 2nd delivery Caesarean howi next 3 yrs gap k baad 3rd delivery bhi Caesarean howi aur phir next 6 yrs gap kbaad 4th delivery bhi Caesarean howi. mujhay Caesareans ki asal medical wajooh ka ilm to nahi lekin iss qism k cases ko dekh kar aam logoun main yehi concept paida hota hai k agar aik baar Caesarean hogayee to next all deliveries bhi lazman Caesarean hi hogi. agar yehi soch mothers main develope kar jaa.ay to psycological effect bhi apna kaam karjata hoga Caesarean 2 Caesarean deliveries maiN... lehaza kia hi acha ho kay nah sirf yeh misconception door kia jaa.ay balkay mumkin ho to aik Caesarean k baad woh tips /precautions bhi batlaa.ay jayain  jo next delivery ko normal delivery bannay main help karay

re: choice of contraceptive method after c-section

Bint agar baby totally mother feed pe ho aur daily 10-12times 24hr mai uske feed ho and aur koi supplement milk nai lai ra tou mostly first 4months safe hotey han aur koi contraceptive required nai hoti

apka chounke waisey he under age pregnancy aur operation huwa ha tou best ha k ap minimum risk lo aur jubtak hormonal method nai krti ya apke period regular nai hote for safe period calculation condom ke option tou ha na

jo low dose maine btaya wo capusle hote hain jo arm ke skin ke ander rakh daite hain. Ye long term 2yr etc ke leye han aur safe han hormones han magar intahai low dose aur slowly release hote hain capsule se so inke side effect min han . .

waisy low dose injection (3monthly),pills(daily) b ati han.

how to avoid recurrent c-section

Labour as such he power play ha passenger (baby) aur passage (uterus to birth canal) ke darmeyan . .

World over aur especially under developed countries mai bhe c-section ka rate barhney ke wajah mai mother ke malnutrition jo keh maternal fatigue aur exhaustion karti ha ka bohat role ha plus family start karne ka trend late age mai above 30years.

Caesarean section 2nd time avoid karne ke leyeh

1) sub se zada zarouri tou ye ha k next pregnancy minimum 2yr baad ho Best 3years gap ha

2)REASON pata houna c-section ke impt ha agar tou underage mother, baby upside down, premature weak baby due to Maternal malnutrition, prolonged labour leading to fetal distress , hypertension in pregnancy etc thein tou zarouri nai k yea next pregnancy mai houn

agar placenta adherence, Cord prolapse , low placenta , small pelvis of mother , gestational diabetes aur large baby , mother ke koi medical illness cause ha tou next time most chances c-section ke he han . .

Agar koi bhe definative Reason ha 1st time operation ke tou next time bhe must he hoga

jo chezain operation ke risk ko karti han wo han

a) Under 18yr pregnancy . . . Above 35yr pregnancy

b) Short height mother (below or exact 5feet)

c) Male type pelvis

d) Malnourished.  Obese or underweight mother

e) Previous 2 c-section or one due to absolute or recurring reason

f) Diabetic mother or other mental physical disease that makes her unable to undergo labour like polio etc

g) Birth defect in previous baby

Twin pregnancy (operated previously)

As such the decision to do vaginal birth after c-section depends on doctor

Uterine Rupture is NOT an issue as such these days after 1 c-section if normal labour is done as scar is transverse and don’t rupture much. The  issue is to prevent placenta adharence to previous operative scar and the ability of uterus to take labour rigors.

Key is to have proper gap, Good nutrition to mother, healthy weight and age factor is taken into account lastly no Absolute recurring reason of operation
