My problem is that whenever I perform intercourse then after discharge I use to get severe pain in the teeth and gums that have been un- bearable. I want to ask is there any relation of this pain with the sex? Otherwise I remain fit on job. What should I do?

gums/teeth problem

You should immediately contact a good dentist. You probably are suffering from gum disease pyuria. Don't wait for treatment otherwise you will lose all of your teeth.

Toothpaste will not help you to cure the disease. They just clean the teeth.

Start flossing from today. Search on the net to see how to do flossing.

AAs a desi totka, take a chutki of lahori namakl and mix it in sarsoon ka oil, then rub it on your teeth/gums before sleeping (reference: hakim Iqbal, akhbar-e-jahan)

reply:

""probably are suffering from gum disease pyuria????"""

pyuria means pus in urine due to urinary infection mostly.........it is not a gum disease

reply:tooth ache and bleeding gums

sex itself has no relation at all with it .... well if your teeth are already weakened by poor hygiene and gums are all swelly and more if you strain and clench your jaw tight that may intensify the pain and bleed occurs and you think its due to intercourse..........

toothache with bleeding gums, the commonest reason  is  that it could be the first sign of gingivitis, which is the inflammation, swelling, and bleeding of gum tissues.

The primary cause of gingivitis is the bacteria that coats your teeth, and if oral hygiene is poor, it forms a sticky white substance called plaque(soft sticky substance formed of debris/waste and old food particle and bacteria if left as such become hard(tartar))

The bactria here will multiply release toxic material and lead to tooth ache and bleeding gum

If left untreated will effect the other tissues and to the bony tissue also

gingivitis is the medical term for gum infection; the actual medical term for bleeding gums is pyorrhea

other reasons are:

1)Periodontitis(advanced form of gingivitis)when beyond gum ligaments etc are now involved
2)Drugs:Anticoagulants (that prevent blood from getting clotted and make it thin)
3)Toothbrush abrasion, improper flossing(if you brush vigorously )
4)Infection, which can be either tooth or gum-related
5)Scurvy (Vitamin C deficiency)more in children
6) Vitamin K deficiency
7)Hormonal changes during pregnancy
8) Chemical irritants such as aspirin
9)Leukemia(as such a very severe blood disease)

10)New tooth is placed

There are also certain factors that need modification:

Like most of us brush teeth once a day and that is either early morning or before bed ….

It has to be twice before bed is very essential plus if u take a nap after noon meal then better do it then too

Use of a tooth pick is okey but most of us rather prick our gums with it its better to floss(use a thread simply between teeth to remove particles)

Eating sweet things like pasteries between two meals a very bad idea as it provide bacteria with plenty of food for them to grow….

When we brush most of us just are concentrating on outer aspect of teeth and not inner side ……………plus the line of junction between teeth and gum must be given importance…

Some remedies and Prevention if tooth pain and bleeding gums is present:

If some one has it first step is to modify diet or else the condition will deteriorate:

1)Whole foods are ideal for the teeth. Even help to remove plaque formed…

Fibreless refined foods allow particles to accumulate on the teeth in a sticky mass where they can do great harm.

2)Very hot or very cold foods or beverages should be avoided.

3)Stop having foods that require a hard bite …..

4)Frequent small snacks are very harmful to teeth, as they produce an acid medium in which the bacteria thrive.

5)The number of times one eats sugary food  is one of the most

Proper brushing:

What damage has been done is done now its more important to brush lightly and gently but thoroughly…

Flossing is important but not over flossing or harshly

Toothpaste: most of tooth paste have fluoride in it but do check and do not follow the advertisement….ask your dentist

Contact a dentist: he may remove the plaque initially and polish the teeth the rest you have to take care…
