Assalam O Alaikum. I have asked a question previously that how much time intercourse could be done after marriage. The reply from this forum was with in first six months as much as possible. Now I want to ask if husband and wife want to continue intercourse and don’t desire for any further pregnancy after first one then what are the methods for it.

1. safe period method(abstinence 4m coitus for 12days in middle of cycle i.e. 8th to 18th day of normal cycle)
2. coitus interruptus(man's withdrawal 4m woman just be4 ejeculation)
3. lactation

• chemical method:

soaps, foams and jellies.

• mechanical barriers:

condoms, cervical cap, diaphragm, intra-uterine contraceptive device.

• oral method:

oral pills, injections, implants.

• female/male sterilization.
• post-coital pill.
