Hope everyone fine here. Well i got married three months before. Our marital life is going very fine. Currently we are planing to have a baby next year(on second year of our marriage). Now the problem is that i am getting pressure from my family to have a baby. They say if you are delaying pregnancy it will cause your wife harm. This is dangerous. Why are you delaying pregnancy.

Now please me tell is it really dangerous not to have a baby on first year. I don't think so. Because i am not using any type of medicines to delay pregnancy. I am simply using the ejaculating outside method. We are so tense because everyone tells us that you are not doing the right thing. Kindly give suggestions. I want to build my career first that's why i am delaying pregnancy. Please tell me Am i doing something wrong. I also read in the book of Dr. Rizwan that its better to have not a baby on first year so the couple can enjoy their life.

yes you are right its no harm if you dont have baby in first year... some time Family Members are not educated in the matter and beleive what ever they heared from other peoples...

Well Dear, There is no harm to delay the pregnancy even for un limited time, however; It is better socially that try to have the baby with in the first year after marriage because every one wants to listen the good news for the first baby and therefore they also pressurize as well. If the pregnancy is delayed for much time then many couples find difficulty in having baby. The reason for that is un known if husband and wife are fertile. The birth control should start after having the first baby.

Why its dangerous. We are just delaying pregnancy for the firs year only. I also mentioned the main reason for the delay(my career). We are also not using any medications. Do you mean that simple sex is harmful if done without pregnancy form some time or what?

I will be thankful if Dr. Rizwan gives his comment also. Kali Zuban please reply.

its not a problem no matter how long you delay. Its a matter of personal choice whenever you feel you are ready for this reponsibility then go for it not under any pressure. Regarding fertility its your personal matter as long as you know therz no abnormality with u, and you are not using internal contraception(which can be at times harmful).

whatever the reasons being sexually active wont make you infertile in any case so just relax
