Marriage with young girls

Asalam ao alaikum, I'm 24 years old boy from islamabad and an old member of this forum. I want to marry a young and poor girl. because I think I can not live with a fashion lover and educated girl, so I guess young and lower-class girl will be good for me. so please tell me what age girl is able to get married. and Is it legal in Islam for a 24 year old boy or elder, to marry with a young girl? Please tell me a detail about it. thanks

it is permissible to marry

a girl before her puberty, but you can only constimate your marriage after her puberty. Forum scholar myrizvi can answer this better and can correct me if need be.

It's better for you to choose a girl aged +18 to avoid any conflict from law of the land. Though Islam allows you to choose a girl of below 18 as well, but in such case so called women rights NGOs can create problems for you and your family
