I wana ask few qs i m v.confuse plz
help me
I wana give fcps in eye, so let
me knw
1. What is duty timing of training, is
there any call in optho, call only 4
evening shift or both evening and
night? Both in pvt and gov hospitle
2. After passing fcps 1 in pakistan,
where i can get residency
internationally, which countries are
elligble for fcps (outside of pak)
3. What is scope of optho?
4. Sylubus for fcps 1 in optho?
5. , As people says that mrcs
exempt fcps
1+ 2 year trainning, what does it actual
mean? Is cpsp gives me fellowship of
fcps, is it i get fcps with my name with
mrcs or, it will b only mrcs, i will b no more fcps dr? And 2nd thing what fcps
+mrcs world wide, is it
acceptable.?

syllabus n timing
Books for fcps ophthalmology Read the following books for Ophthalmology FCPS-I:
Anatomy.....Snell
Neuro.......Snell
Physiology..BRS/
Pathology...BRS just do general
Pharma......mini katazung just do tables at the end of each unit.
Embryo......sharjeel/KLM for congenital disease of eye
Micro.......Jawetz Summaries
Ocular Physiology....John Ferris
Handbook of DD ......Azeem Sheikh Histology of cell from any book Do USMLE first Aid MCQs from Azeem Sheikh and Q book.
practice MCQs very well. Duty timing r 8am to 2pm and calls rarely for night

Important Neuro anatomy is very important do it from snell and also kaplan..
u must revise first aid atleast 3 times
