As Hasna already mentioned, your TSH and prolactin levels are normal. However, in order to make a comment about your LH levels, I would like to know what day of your monthly cycle these labs were drawn, because LH levels vary according to the different phases of the menstrual cycle. Generally they are drawn on Day 2 or 3.

Ok, so you don't have PCOS. Metformin , an anti diabetic agent, is also used often in the treatment of PCOS, and also for weight loss in obese people. However, generally speaking, dietary modification and exercise are preferable to metformin to achieve weight loss. I don't know if you have already tried exercising and dieting, but if you haven't, certainly these would be better options as comapered to metformin, in my opinion.

No I didn't miss your question whether it was too early to go for the tube test. I told you that in my opinion, you should undergo certain other labs, including FSH level and Estradiol Levels ( Day 2 or 3), and Day 21 progesterone levels, before you consider undergoing HSG . So, in other words, yes it would be too early to jump on HSG, without getting all the other labs done. Because these labs might very well reveal a hormonal abnormality which would explain your symptoms. HSG is done only after all the other work up has been completed, and it only tells whether there is blockage in the fallopian tubes which ofcourse would interfere with your ability to get pregnant. However, if you do not have a history of recurrent pelvic infections, and did not have any past gynecological surgeries, chances are your HSG would come back as entirely normal.
