raw garlic and blood pressure. many researches are done on garlic and definately it has role in lowering blood pressure :

1) it when goes into body is metabolized(divided) to sulfhydrl compounds that have effect (positive) on red blood cells
2) it has a small compound in it(peptide) that decrease a particular b.p raising hormone
3) it relax the muscles of blood vessels and prevent b.p rising..
