Basically I am from India ,but after marriage came to usa and working here. Inshallah within a week I am expecting a newborn as I am 39week pregnant. With my husband I did hospital tour as required in this country to see hospital and their services. We donno what we are going to have as we don't want to know newborn sex (boy or girl). But hospital ask us if we have a baby boy whether we want to have his circumcision(khatna) on birth.

My question is ,it is good to have circumcision at birth time or later. As in india my place pupil do after 1month or 2yrs 5yrs and some do little late too like 11, 12.

They told us many doctors and their method in network. So, please let me know how to procede on this matter.

no matter when

koi medically faraq to nahi parrna chahiye. u have to see when and how it is financially better for u, now or later.

in my personal non-medical opinion it is better to do this some later after u urself are medically fit, too.

If there is rule in usa then you can't do any thing.

AND

They are also doctors dear so they must have idea and well know about the circumcision so i think you dont need worry about it.

yes there is little problem which is that your baby will cry alot and will distrub you. you are not so fit after birth of baby so there will be problem to handle a baby.

But dont worry about it it take 10 to 15 days to settle.

main ne to yahi suna hai k yahan k Drs yahi kehtay hain k jitni jaldi ho sakey ye kam kerwa lena chahiye...means with in first 2 months....bad mein bacha bara ho jata hai to ziada tang kerta hai....is liye agar bachay ki health aur weght wagera sahi ho to foren ye kam kerwa lena behter hota hai
