I have extreme phlegm in my throat and I use to through it down the food pipe. Does it have any problem or side effects? How it will be vanished?

It happens due to the chronic allergic conditions of the respiratory tract. You have to avoid those allergens responsible for it. Have to avoid seasonal changes etc. Get anti allergic by seeing a doctor in person. It has no harm if engulfed.
