Hepatitis: What Causes Hepatitis? Briefly,
Hepatitis is the inflammation of liver. Inflammation happens as a defense
mechanism against any infection or injury. When inflammation happens, the germs
are killed by these reactions. However; if this inflammation persists for long
due to any reason or continuous attacks of germs, then the inflammation would
be injurious to the liver. Same thing happens in Viral Hepatitis, that the
viruses continuously keep on destroying the liver and finally, the liver
becomes unable to perform its work. There are so many viruses, medicines,
drugs, injurious agensts, and parasites etc that produce injury to the liver.
Alcohol and Viruses (Hepatits B and Hepatitis C) are most common causes of Hepatitis.
