What would be the signs of ovulation?

· There are only six days per monthly cycle during which a woman can conceive

· How to calculate the days of fertility: The eggs are released from ovary of the female alternatively from each month. For those who have regular 28 days cycle of menstruation, calculate day 14 from the first day of last menstrual period. This is the time of ovulation. Now since the day 14 to the next 6 days is the fertile time and intercourse during this period can give fruitful results other wise intercourse whole of the month will not result in pregnancy. Those women who have prolong menstrual cycle but its regular then subtract 18 from the total length of cycle and the number obtained is the day of ovulation. For example a woman has 35 days regular cycle then subtracting 35-18 = 17. Therefore day 17 after 1^st day of last menstrual cycle is the day of ovulation and sex from this day till further six days would be fruitful. Other signs of ovulation are increase in body temperature and change in the consistency of discharge or mucus from vagina. Since the day 14^th is calculated from the first day of last menstrual period therefore, if any woman starts menses on 1^st of a month then she will ovulate on 14^th of a month. Ovulation is not related with the 14 days after menses has been over.

What are the feelings till 2-3 days after the fusion of sperm and egg?

A woman does not have so early signs and feeling that she can predict whether or not fusion has been taken place. Signs become evident when fused product implants in uterus and placenta develops. After development of placenta a hormone is released by it known as Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (B-HCG). This hormone brings nausea and vomiting. In most of the females this is the earlier sign of pregnancy and it occurs almost a month after fusion of sperm and ovum.

Should the intercourse not done for the first three months of pregnancy, especially on the first coming due dates of menses just after pregnancy that proves whether pregnancy has been held or not?

Medically there is no prohibition of doing intercourse and it can be done thorough out the pregnancy. However; care must be done and positions must be appropriate.
