 Polycystic Ovaries: How Can I Get Pregnant?
thanks u described this topic very well.u told me that policystic ovries can occure to any type of girl but u didnt tell me how and y they can produce in a girl what r da reasons.i m not over weight girl i have normal physique.i got periods always on time some times they came 2 days before or after 2 days but after marriage they came sometimes after 5 days 6 days but last month they came after 10 days.i have hair growing problem i have hairs below my chin and tummy on my legs and breast as well.i got married on december now what should i do.this mean that my husband doesnt have problem.problem is in me.is there not any ovulation in me cant i produce or fertilie any egg.cant i get pregnant plz answer me

Polycystic ovarian disease is not due to specific factors.majority of studies suggest that its due to excess secretion of hormones called androgens.but why these hormones are over secreted theres no clear answer to this.overweight is not a cause of polycystic overy,rather its an effect of this disease.
i m afraid the most disturbing aspect of this disease is that its associated with 1).growth of hair on body,
2).lots of acne
3).30% of patients become infertile
4).65% suffer from repeated spontaneouys miscarriages.
so i wud suggest u see a good gynaecologist in yur area.he/she will most probably suggest u oral contraceptives which are the best treatment for this disease so far.

uzma salam..mujhay bhi polycystic ovary hai..aur doctor ne mujhay glucophage tablet di hai..aur mein poochna chahati hoon..k aap ko doctor ne kon si medicine di hai... |
