Baldness Causes

گنجے پن کی خواہ کو ئی بھی وجہ ہو لیکن مشت زنی سے انسان گنجا نہیں ہوتا
There are a number of reasons of baldness. If you have baldness then you should consult any doctor to find out the exact cause of baldness and treatment. But masturbation is not the cause of baldness

Baldness involves the state of lacking hair where it often grows, especially on the head. The most common form of baldness is a progressive hair thinning condition called androgenic alopecia or 'male pattern baldness' that occurs in adult male humans

There are several other kinds of baldness:

1. Traction alopecia is most commonly found in people with ponytails or cornrows who pull on their hair with excessive force. Wearing a hat shouldn't generally cause this, though it is a good idea to let your scalp breathe for 7 hours a day.

2. Traumas such as chemotherapy, childbirth, major surgery, poisoning, and severe stress may cause a hair loss condition known as telogen effluvium.

3. Some mycotic infections can cause massive hair loss.

4. Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disorder also known as "spot baldness" that can result in hair loss ranging from just one location (Alopecia areata monolocularis) to every hair on the entire body (Alopecia areata universalis).

5. Localized or diffuse hair loss may also occur in cicatricial alopecia (lupus erythematosus, lichen plano pilaris, folliculitis decalvans, central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia, postmenopausal frontal fibrosing alopecia, etc.). Tumours and skin outgrowths also induce localized baldness (sebaceous nevus, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma).

6. Hypothyroidism can cause hair loss, especially thinning of the outer third of the eyebrows

7. Temporary loss of hair can occur in areas where sebaceous cysts are present for considerable duration; normally one to several weeks in length.

Excessive male sex hormone testosterone also leads to your hair loss

How Excessive Testosterone Leads To Your Hair Loss

By Rudy Silva

Hair loss has been observed and studied for ages, and some interesting discoveries were made in ancient times. It was noticed that eunuchs:

* those males without genitals-never went bald

* men who were castrated as a result of accidents in battle also never went bald

This was the first sign that testosterone had something to do with hair loss. It has also been found that the more recessive the hair gene, the chances you have of becoming bald.

Androgens Testosterone and Adrenaline

What exactly are androgens? Androgens are sex hormones mainly produced by males. The main male androgen is testosterone. Androgens are produced by your adrenal glands – testosterone and adrenaline - which protect your body in stressful situations and give you the power to respond to dangerous situations.

When you are under constant stress, you have adrenals that are overactive. Under this stress, you are are producing both testosterone and adrenaline. The excess testosterone, you create can be a cause in your hair loss. Also if you constantly over eat fatty foods and red meat, this will cause an overactive adrenal gland.

Hair Loss and Prostate Gland

There is a definite connection between Male Pattern Baldness (MPB) and the prostate gland. The prostate gland is actually a cluster of small glands in males surrounding the urethra, located just below the bladder. There is not a lot known about all the functions of the prostate, except that it serves to squeeze seminal fluid into and through the urethra during ejaculation.

Prostate problems can cause serious problems with urination if it becomes enlarged, and sometimes the prostate becomes cancerous. Non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate is called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

DHT is responsible for the division of cells in the prostate, and is normally expelled by the prostate. However, when the prostate fails to expel the DHT, it builds up and causes enlargement. It has been confirmed that typical North American and northern European diets lend to the perpetuation of BPH and prostate cancer, whereas these are uncommon phenomena in other lands and was even uncommon here in the past.

This is significant since the overproduction of DHT is responsible for BPH and prostate cancer, and is also responsible for MPB or androgenetic alopecia.

The findings in research for BPH cures have usually simultaneously produced benefits in hair growth.

So to minimize the genetic tendency for hair loss be aware of excess stress in your life and work on reducing it. Learn what kind of diet is necessary to keep your prostate healthy.

Two additional facts about hair loss are:

* If you are blond-haired, you have a greater tendency toward hair loss than darker-haired people. But if you are Caucasian, then you have a greater tendency toward hair loss than non-Caucasian people.

* Beyond the genetic tendency of certain people for hair loss, diet seems to play a factor in hair loss. This is good to know, since this is one additional you can make changes to you to your lifestyle.

Testosterone and Baldness

By Damian Sofsian

Testosterone is an androgenic hormone produced by the testes; it is responsible for the development of male secondary sex characteristics. Balding hair has some relation to a testosterone derivative called DHT (dihydro testosterone.)

All men have the same amount of testosterone circulating in the blood regardless of hair status. The main cause of hair loss is a high amount of dihydrotestosterone within the hair follicle. DHT is produced from testosterone in the prostate and various other adrenal glands and in the scalp. In the long run, a high amount of DHT causes the hair follicles to shorten the active life span of hair.

The amount of sebum present in scalp is another important factor that affects baldness. Sebum contains a high amount of DHT and also clogs the pores in scalp. DHT is produced in everyone's body, but only some people suffer from hair loss. This DHT factor is inherited through the genes.

The most effective preventative treatment for baldness is anti-androgens and drugs that prevent the creation of DHT. Inadequate nutrition also causes baldness. The amount of DHT can be kept low by taking a protein and eating an iron-rich diet. Intake of a sufficient amount of raw vegetables, fresh fruits, and salads can reduce the chances of hair loss. Leafy vegetables should also be included in the diet. Other causes of baldness are stress, worry, anxiety, and sudden shock. Mental stress can affect the normal functioning of the skin of the scalp and stall the supply of essential nutrition for the growth of hair.

Baldness provides detailed information on Baldness, Baldness Treatment, Male Baldness, Baldness Cure and more. Baldness is affiliated with Bald Women.

Medical Conditions Causing Hair Loss

Hair loss and going bald is something many men have to adjust to as they get older. There are, however, a number of diseases and conditions that can cause hair loss. By treating the illness hair loss can be reversed.

Illnesses and conditions that can cause male hair loss include:

1. High temperature associated with infections or flu.

2. Thyroid and pituitary problems

3. Some medical treatments; radiotherapy, side effects of medications such as interferon, chemotherapy and steroids can all cause hair loss.

4. Stress

5. Psychological problems such as trichotillomania where some people pull out their hair

6. Exposure to dangerous chemicals such as thallium acetate

7. Fungal infections of the scalp

8. Ringworm

9. Burns

10. Alpaca Areata Universalis, where the whole body is affected, or totalis where the whole of the scalp becomes bald.

If hair loss is caused by disease there are usually other symptoms that accompany hair loss.

If you believe your hair loss may be caused by disease go check it out with your doctor.
