 Gastric BallooNing
I had this surgery in Pakistan through endoscopy means. Anesthisia was given but lightly, just enough to dose me off for about 45mins, due to heart tests revealed, that if we did other surgeries such as liposuction or gastric bypass, i may not be able to wake up from the anesthesia afterwards. Anyhow, to make the story short.... In reality, the difference is only 10kgs... I needed 35kgs off to make an actual difference, before this , doctors had kind of assured 40kgs.. But i guess where all humans. This procedure costs me 6lakhs, and though I knew We were paying allot, but though the doctors acted as friends of the family, my family didnt want me to going any where else. According to the news and other places these doctors are known to be top doctors, surgeon and anesthesiologist of Pakistan... I do have to go back to Pakistan in July to get the ballooN removed. I pray to God that everything goes okay for me, I am however confused as if there is anything more I can do.. in all of this.. Through Nuclear Heart tests, Ecg's, Echo Testing, they determined the heart wasnt going to be for the whole thing... At one point I remember sitting at the chairman of the hospital's office and told him, I am your patient so their is confidentiality act here, he says yes... then I said, I am telling you my dad, mom, they dont need to know, I only want gastric bypass, if I survive great, if not, no worries and im willing to write it down for you. He said hold on Child. He called my dad in Saudia just to tell him what I told him, then he told my dad, no communication whatsoever with me regarding this treatment of his till its through with... then he told me all this confidentiality thing happens in america or england, here we have honest principles, we will only do that surgery which has the best survival rate and in your conditition is helpful to you. Sorry if we are not here to make money.. We cant just operate the way anyone wants, that why I had everything of you tested so I can determine what was wrong with you before I decided to fix you. |
