 The Word YAAR: Is It Un-Ethical?
hamaray 3 members (hungama , josh , bewakoof) ka kehna hai k kisi female ko "yaar" keh kar mukhatib karna abusive word hai aur females ki insult hai ........likin main is baat say agree nahi karta ..........kyun k
1. agar insult hai tou kis wajah say insult hai (define it with logical examples)
2. Yaar word males k liyain insult kyun nai hai (mera jawaab ye hai k males k liyain yaar word ko positively dekha jaata hai aur females k liyain yaar word ko negatively , is ka matlab hai k jo loag yaar ko ghalat samajhtay hain un ki zehniyat kharab hai)
3. jo ye kehtey hain k insult hain tou unhon nay zaror apne ganday demaagh main koi ghalat baat ya ghalat main may soocha ............ aur jis nay yaar ka word use kiya us nay koi ghalat baat demagh main rakh kar nahi kaha ..................
akhir hum kis taraf jarahay hain ............ kya hum agay barhnay kay bajaye dobara peechay ki taraf jarahay hain ya negatively soochna hamari aadat ban chuki hai ..................may bhi taleem ki kami is tarha sochnay par majboor karti hai.......................app kya kehtay hai ......speciallay female members
note: laraye nahi honi chahiyai .

yaar word is so common nowadays mera to khayal hai ke aaj kal ham log baat karte howe yeh feel bhi nahi karte ke ham ne apni baaton mai kitni baar "yaar" kaha hai. its so common both in girls and boys. bhai behan aapas mai ek dosre ko "yaar" keh dete hain, friends mai, even parents ko bhi frankness mai yaar keh sakte hain. baat to frankness ki hai. i don't think ke es mai koi qabil-e-aitezaar baat hai. |

yaar...yara i think this word is just ..takya kalam....not abusive word,cause in pashto this word also use between sister and brother...yara. |

this word han khubsurat ka kehna sahi hai,ajkal ye word itna common ho chuka hai,ke hum apni baton me ise kayi bat use karte hain...mere husband bhi kabhi kabhar mujhe jaldi me yaar keh dete hain..
par personaly agar ye mujhe koi aisa shakhs kahe jis se mai free hun,to mai ise normaly hi lungi par agar koi aisa kahe jise mai nahi janti,aur jiska mujhe free hona pasand nahi than i dont like it..
ye apne ap pe depend karta hai ke kisi ko kiska yar kehna acha laga ya mind kiya...aur agar mind kiya to mana kiya ja sakta hai..but in ur case pinky ko koi aitraz nahi hai..to ap kyun pareshan hain...
Ps....par is bat ka dusra rukh ye bhi ke humare bade,ya kuch log is lafz ko kisi ladki ke lye istemal karna acha nahi samajhte.lekin aj ki generation ye word itna common ho chuka hai,and i think bewakoof ne isi lye mana kiya,kyunke ise abhi bhi bohat se log hain jo isko kisi ladki ke lye use karna pasand nahi karte |

 it was an abusive word
few years back u can say in the past when our parents were young this word was used for prostitutes u may ask some of your family member and was considered an abusive word.................but now as we dont think before speaking we also speak too many bad words like ........shit, damit etcc so islamic point of view our each and every word is written by the angels and these words will be recalled infront of whole world on the day of judgement i dont think any one would like to fill his Amaal naaama with such bad words.............sooooooooo be careful before speaking............hope u understand |

hmm chill karo and relax karo...this is a normal word used in todays language by everyone for everyone indeed..if someone has problems with it doesnt necessarily means that ur wrong... |

Hitman,
When we do not have anything to think about and talk about than Indian movies, fashion, and stuff like that then things like this happen and it is normal mentality of our ppl. We would love to waste our time on tiny matters like this, instead of using the same time in helping someone else. When u know how crazy and empty headed we are then dont think about this nonsense, as it is not going to change our low mentality. |

hmmm...pinkfire to is ka matlab hai ke ager koi fajir ki namaz nahin parta to wo koi bhi namaz na parhay. aur ager parni hai to pehle fajir ki parhe.

Abay-Yaar is very common in Pakistan

Yaar word tou ajj kal buhat hi common hai , Siblings & Parents bhi use kartey hain ... iss ko use karne ma koi harj nahi hai YAAR (lol)

insaan ki apni apni liking aur disliking hoti hy but i really didn't like this word,i think it is un-ethical ager lerki lerki ko kahay tu bura,lerki lerkay ko aur lerka lerki ko hahay tu aur bhi bura lakin lerka lerkay ko ye word kahay tu phir bhi suit krta hy.Allah Hafiz |

yaar word i think it is not very good word in polight language and i think it is a punjabi word. when we speak urdu and mix with punjabi it does not look nice. plz dont take me in wrong sence i myself punjabi .instead of yaar we can use the word friend , DOST. it is more beauti full.butt when we use yaar while talking in punjabi it is also okay.
all it is based on my personal experiance not at any reserch and it could be wrong , if there is any language teacher is requested to correct me thanks every body
