 Can Hepatitis B Transmit To Child By Infected Mother?
Only
about 10-20 % of patients are there who get complete eradication of Hepatitis B
after getting this infection. In majority of cases, only the infectivity
becomes negative and hence the PCR comes negative, howver; the virus of
Hepatitis B remains in the blood for life in dormant state. Dormant state is a
condition, in which a virus remains inactive and preserves itself under
unfavorable conditions. God knows when it will become active again. It could
also be possible that it would not become active again but time prediction is
not possible. In any of theses cases, virus remains in the body and there are
strong chances that it oculd be transmitted to the baby during pregnancy and
delivery. A concerned lady doctor or Gynecologist could give proper advice to
such a woman who has got this problem.
