 Fracture At Calcaneum: Till How Long I Have To Use Walker?
i got fractuire in my foot bone i had fracture in ym calcaneus bone i was in cast for 6 weeks now my cast has been removed x-rays are fine but i am walking with the help of walker i cant walk without walker tell me how long it will take more to walk normal without any assistance i need physiotherapy to help me walk normal what are the benefits of physiotherapy

Reply Do go for physiotherapy it has all the role in making muscles,tendon and joint cavity healthy..plus the position of calcaneus is such that ankle joint is already a loose joint plus may be ur tendon(achille's) was also affectd so it takes a bit of time.foot tendon(ankle tendon/achille's tendon)even if teared up less take more time to get healed up ...ul get good balance dnt worry in nxt 4wk time plus do physiotherapy , it gives warmth to the area so increase blood supply that accelerates healing,passive movements also help early recovery. |

problem tell me how long it will take more so that i start walking normal like before tell me how many weeks or months i am having swelling on my foot tell me i will be able to walk or not is there any complication i am going to face or not tell me i need to do some excersises or not |

Re..problem Joint fractures are slow to heal u have to be patient.i knw its tiresome bt it is like this. Swelling is usually normal after bandage removal But Do Go to ur Doctor n make him do ur examination of foot. Keep walkng with walker u will improve gradually. Xact time of full recovry is dffcult to tell n wthout seeing the joint ur doc cn tell.may b 4-8weeks. Visit ur doc n do physiotherapy..tht wud be ur excercise of foot |

problem sir i had fracture in my foot bone is it a joint fracture tell me what you think so i will be able to walk normal tell me these fractures can cause permanent diasability there is swelling on my foot and stiffness too how long it will talke more to recover completely my plaster has been removed i week ago but i still cant walk having difficulty i had fracture in calcaneus bone |

Re: Fracture At Calcaneum: Till How Long I Have To Use Walker? Get your another Xray of that joint at that moment. In usual cases if the joint is properly taken its place and the fracture heals, the person would be able to walk after six weeks. But in your case if it is not happening, get your serial xray done and find whether all the things are going right?. I think you still have some tear at the tendon or your fracture has not healed yet. Consult again after that xray with reporting. |

problem i can walk now i have started walking tell me how long it will take more to walk normal like i use to walk before i can walk now without any walker or walking stick foot can bear my weight tell me howlong it will take more to start running also

i cant run now my speed of walkign is also slow tell me when i will be able to walk and run like before tell me how long it will take more i still have swelling on my foot tell me any treatment for swelling |

problem i having swelling in my foot joints joints are not free in mobility there is swelling and stiffness in joints tell me how long it will take for joints to have free mobility there is swelling on my foot i can walk but flow is not very smooth of walking |

problem ya x-rays are fine tell me when my joints swelling will go how long it will take more i have swelling in my foot joints i can walk now i have started walking i am walking slow there is swelling in my foot tell me how long it will take more to recover from fracture completely. |

Well I did say swelling is normal after bandage removal,bt doc must gve u medicines to reduce it,accordng to what i knw aftr bandage remvl atleast 4wk min and upto 8wk mak are req to hav nrmal gait wth runing etc,and physiotherapy be done,.anyway u follow what doc here says n ur physician |

problem tell me what is normal gait with running i still have swelling in my joints of foot i can walk now but i am walking slow i am unable to run rightnow sometimes while walking i usd to limp there is tightness in my foot i cant walk fast tell em is there any treatment for my problem how long it will take more to recover completely |

query i am having in my joints of foot tell me swelling can cause difficulty in walking i am unable to run now i am havign brown spots on my foot i had fracture in my calcaneus bone tell me how long it will take more to recover completely i cant walk fast what is normal gait i limp while walking also difficulty wearing different footwear complications of calcaneus fracture |

problem i ha fracture in my calcaneus bone of foot 5months before i am walking now without any assistance but my walking is not same as i use to walk before fracture i feel my foot muscles are stretched and walking motion is not same as before i use to limp also while walking tell me should i consult an orthopaedic surgeon for my case tell me how long it will take more in my case to recovery completely |
