Well ....after a long time i am here and delighted to see that forum is not only alive but also flourshing. It was also good 2 c that some of old and expert members are moderators now.

Now i will come to my problem

My 4 months old baby has single right sided kidney (congenital) along with some other congenital anomalies (which are not related to it). My question is whats the prognosis, risk factors, cautions and complications for this particular case.

Please I want serious and expert opinions only.

bazahir single kidney se koi bhi problem nahi hai. agar koi aur problem nahi hai tu wo single kidney se bhi poori zindagi guzar sakti hai.

Single kidney

There r many reasons for a single kidneys and improvement is different if we compare it with adult, in children usually it comes with may other congenital deformities so you should tell me what are the other problems
i would strongly suggest you to consult a peadiatrician
