Food For Sex(partI):Why Require Special Food For Sex?

Introduction:

 

When a child is born one if its innate reflexes is to suckle while many other reflexes are acquired over time. The inherent ability to suckle proves the value of food in our lives. Food has calories in it ,these calories we require to keep our body functioning even for breathing or maintaining our body temperature(core temperature) we require calories. When these calories are used energy is produced. This energy makes every cell of our body(of all systems)  to perform its function. When cell combine tissues are formed when tissues combine organs are formed. So our every organ(heart,brain,testes etc) need calories ,that is in food, to work.

 

 

 Generally its said that eat a balanced diet to remain healthy and we all know a balanced diet is one that is composed of five basic groups carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins and minerals though now Water has been added as Sixth important component of dietary requirement.

We talk about eating balanced diet so that our all body systems get the nutrients they want. Though food is for body as a whole but its also true that our particular system of body is either solely dependent on certain nutrients or require certain nutrients more than other systems. To understand this concept that our sexual or reproductive parts of the body require certain nutrients more I will elaborate few aspects about other systems.

 

Our Nervous system requires glucose , fats and vitamin B12 more than other food components. Our muscles utilize calcium, potassium and proteins more than other food components to work. Our bones take in calcium, phosphorous and vitamin D more than other components of food. Similarly vitamin A is required more in eyes and skin.

 

Why certain nutrients are required more than other for sexual or reproductive health of males and females has particular reasons. Sexual apparatus of body is dependent on Sex hormones(chemicals) mainly for their growth and also functioning. Basic requirements of sex organs to remain healthy and perform are:

 

1) Sex hormones and food containing chemicals similar to sex hormones

2) Blood flow to those organs as blood provides oxygen and basic nutrients

3) Certain vitamins and minerals that are particularly required for healthy functioning of sexual organs.

4) Avoidance of harmful substances and habits for sex organs.

5) Self confidence and positive attitude .

 

 

Before going into finer details I consider it worth mentioning that time and again studies have shown that best Food To Gain Sexual Energy Is Sex Itself. Not only its physically healthy   and psychologically assuring   but also is a source of more production of sex hormones and also blood flow increase to the sexual organs and therefore completes the Petard  of Basic requirement healthy of sex organ.

Also any food healthy for body itself is healthy for sexual organs.

 

General five Basic Rules For Choice Of Food For Sexual Health:

 

1)Use Low Fat Meat :

 Like chicken and Fish and in moderation Avoid excessive red meat (beef and mutton) as it's a misconception that red meat is good for sexual health.Also nuts and beans have good proteins.

 

2)Feast On And Devour Fruits And Vegetables:

 All variety of fruits and vegetable are almost equally good for sexual health without any demarcation. Though certain fruits and veggies like banana,papaya,raspberries ,pomegranates , tomato, spinach,garlic and onion have been associated more with sexual health due to their nutrients  BUT in General all fruits and veggies are nutritionally wholesome for sexual health.

 

3)Avoid Excess Sugar and salt:

 sugar in cakes, pastries ,biscuits , muffins and other bakery products are to be avoided as Simple Sugars in fruit are enough for body store.

 

4)Special Foods For Each Gender:

Certain foods have certain chemicals resembling Female or male sex hormone are good for that gender like Soya Bean And Soya have Phytoestrogen resembling Estrogen(the female sex hormone).Similarly nuts like almonds due to fatty acid increase male hormone production are good for their health

 

 

5)Health In General :

 

Obesity leads to hormonal changes and imbalance in both males and females. Production of more female hormone (estrogen from fat depots) can decrease libido and similarly  fat impairs ovulation in females and ovulation related hormonal surges for more sex drive.

 

Similarly Diabetes, nerve damage, lower spine or pelvic injuries and poor nutrition and stress is cause of decreased drive so proper management be done.
