Delayed Menses (Amenorrhea) Causes And Treatment
In sexually active women, delayed menstruation could be due to several reasons. The first thing however; come in the mind is Pregnancy. However; solely pregnancy could not be the cause for delayed menses (amenorrhea) always. Physical and mental stress could also be the reason of it. In a sexually active woman, delayed menses is a nerve teasing problem, excessive exercise, poor nutritional status etc. are others that are held responsible.
Above all the other causes of delayed menses, one important thing is the delayed ovulation. It means if the ovulation is not happening on time, the menses would also doesn't come on time.
As you have checked that you are not pregnant, I would advise you to wait for your doctor, and don't take any medication without proper checkup. Since I have already mentioned there are a lot of causes of delayed menses, therefore; it isn't clear what the main cause of your problem is?

thanx for ur reply...........asal me jy hormones ki problub hai uski waja se b menses delay hote he abhi mjy dr ne yhi kha tha k 2onth try kre conceive krne k liye abhi menses hi nhi aye.............me dr se ph per contact krne ki try krti hu...............menses delay hone ki bht si wajohaat he unme ek hormones ki b hai plz i will thnk ful to u if u explain me about hormones k ye kis tra menses deley hone ka sabab bnte he..............plz help me mjy dr ne hormones ko balance krne ki medi b di thi..........kia ye possible hai k ek dfa balance hone k bad phir se disturb hojaye.............pl reply me im waiting here

Sorry for delay. Yes hormonal imbalance may cause irregular menses, and in turn impact on fertility as well. As you know a lot of discussion has already been done on the forum on this topic. I have advised you to wait for the doctor before taking medicines since it is not an emergency to induce the menses if they are going to be delayed. However; on the other way round you may consult any other Gyne doctor as well if your own doctor is not in office. Since I don't know your complete history of problem, I can't suggest you any thing.

me ye puchna chahti hu k prolactin ziada hoto isse b pregnancy nhi hoti hai...........aur foods k sath b to prolactin ko km kia jasakta haina waise to dr ne mjy medicine b di hai dopergin prolactin km krne k liye mgr me wo fooods b use krna chahti hu jisse prolactin ka level normal hojaye...................
and plz keep praying for me.................dr water is dfa dr ne mera TSH ka test lia jo k Allah ka shukr hai k theek aya aur s.prolactin high hai.................hr 2din baad dr vaginal ultrasound krhi hai egg check krne k liye..................plz reply me

Yes excess prolactin does cause subfertility. Carry On with what your gynae guides you. THERE isnt any particular food for this.

simple increased prolactin effects ovulation so cause infertility also causes OLIGOMENNORHEA (delayed/missed menses) prolactin effects FSH Hormône release (decrease it) and GnRH release inhibitor so ovaries cant ovulate as FSH causes follicle growth . prolactin levels can be back to normal within 3weeks to 8weeks

Delayed Irregular Periods - Menses - Amenorrhea
Depends on Ur level of prolactin mainly then type of drug is chosen. Some drugs lie bromocriptine require more monitoring. Ur doc will re check ur levels and if not normal will continue and may Increase dose.

yes waterr sister u are right me abhi hospital se hi arhi hu dr ne ultrasound ki k egg relesed hua k nhi..............but egg is still there and its mean no ovolution................:(
dr ne mjy duphaston di hai aur kha hai k abhi intercourse kro ya nhi as u like meri trf se free ho.............its mean k dr ne pehly kha tha 3days sath rho mgr abhi jbky egg b nhi relesed hua i dontknow kia hota hai jb egg time per relesed nhi ho............aur dr duphaston dy dy abhi 14days k bad bulaya hai...............mera prolactin level nhi low hua thats why ovulution nhi hui aur pregnancy b nhi hogi............:( :( :( |
