meri shadi ko3 years hogy hain no pregnancy kahi dum karwanay gai to lady said k tumko athra hay..?yeh kesy pata chalta hay k athra hay k nahi b4 pregency? kia dr ko pata hay is k kia sympotoms hoty hain n konsi medicne use karoo kis sy pochoo the lady said k is mei pregncy hoti hy but abort hojata hay but mujhy to abhi tk pregncy b nahi hoi but she said ilajaj karwao plz tell me

Athra - A Pregnanat Woman Disease With Anxiety
Athra is not a medical term but very common in use in backward areas.
It is a kind of disease of Pregnant Woman who develops habit of miscarriage or abortion. But this disease is not miscarriage or abortion. Actually after becoming pregnant, some mental symptoms are born like grief, fear, fits or convulsion or cramps etc. So its kind of Gestational Anxiety. Pregnancy related with unseen mental disorder where woman does not accept pregnancy.
The woman physically looks ok or no sign or symptoms are observed. But after become pregnant a kind of pulse from the womb to mind is generated (this has been told to me by a patient). Although there is no such path.
What has actually happened. When the woman got pregnant, She develops uncalled mental disorder. She feels fear or her womb / uterus begins to squeeze. She develops convulsion or some time without any physical sign but her mind remains in the state of fear until she suffers with miscarriage or if pregnancy continues, she remained in a state of mental torture.
The people takes her to PEER FAKEER who declares that she has now become the slave of Ghost. ES K OPE SAYA HA. ES KO ATHRA HA.

Mujhey bhi Atthra hai, i had two miscarriages. One was after 6 months of my marriage and 2nd now after 3 and half year of my marriage. Some one told me that its Athra. The first one was on 5th week of pregnancy and 2nd one was on 11th week of pregnancy. But both times i had spotting on 4th week and fetus died afteward. I have also noticed that some time when i m getting so angry my blood pressure shoots up, may be this is the reason.
Sunehri j, Kindly tell me about treatment that you got. All details from where I can get that medicine its hakeem one or homeopathy....

According to some ppl I am also suffering from Athra. Now I have conceived third time but this time I had empty SAC even at the 7th week.
I couldn't understand when a women is too much willing to be mother then what kind of fear she suffers on being pregnant.
Also I could open the website you have mentioned. Kindly help me out in this problem, is it also Age related thing like at elder age it occurs.
I came to know about sever deficiency of Vitamin D and Calcium, also I am not taking protein like meat.
