Question: My age is 23 years and I am a university graduate. I am going to marry with a girl whose age is hardly 16 years old. I have done much study over sexual literature and in my opinion a person should establish the contact and relations only on wedding night and the real sexual intercourse should be done on the second night. However; according to my friends it would leave bad impression if I would not do intercourse on first night. I want to have your opinion in this regard. Answer: In the present era, according to the lower and middle lower class people, the advice of your friends seems right, however; a lot of things depends upon the intelligence and discreetness of the bride. Also these things depend upon the information given to her by her friends about wedding night. This is the primitive thought in our society that the intercourse must be commenced at wedding night and if it would not be done, then this matter is taken very odd and unusual. However; your way of thinking is handsome and wise that on the wedding night the bride should be taken in to confidence after removing her worries and fear, and when she would be relaxed on second night, then the intercourse should be done. Although the intercourse even on the first night could be better if the bride is not seems terrified. According to the primitive Indian sexologist, 1st intercourse should be commenced after passage of ten days since marriage, however; in present days' marriages, people don't give advice for such delays. As per perceptions, too much delay could create a lot of anxiousness in the mind of bride.
