Sir, you'll find me hand in hand.. I have been looking into some resources of Pakistan for years, as personal study..
1) OIL, Petroleum companies ye chahtih nahin thi kabhi ke Pakistan unka bill kam karein, like all places they always wanted oil and its products bill to be higher, thats why they always discouraged it, by filling the pockets of those that Oversaw thar coal and such projects as Pakistan's Integrity..
2) I heard, Pakistan is the 7th largest in the world, and though this knowledge not really answering your question but on the top of my head, I dont know... I'd have to check.
3) well first it will be the glasification of coal, which should take about 3yrs.. just some of it, not all, as that would take more time.. but that alone would make coal available, and that should help with electricity use.. Pakistan is doing some work on it, but its not enough. Dr. Samar was right some what on the estimates, but Dr. Khan contradicted that in Jan 2011.
