Nice thread. This thread certainly lead my attention.
This is a good way to improve English, of the members weak in it.
I'll do my very best to offer the utmost help, I could.
To be honest, I think I have a very good English, knowing that I've spent half of my life in the US, so I don't see any trouble in volunteering, and helping out people over here...

suggestion
This is a cool thread and certainly very helpful for members. However instead of copying and pasting from web dictionaries, if you guys share words with their usage in real word. That might be more efective.
for example.
Carpeting: noun
| 1. | fabric for floors: thick fabric used for covering floors | 2. | carpets: carpets regarded collectively How much do you want to spend on carpeting? |

advise i think we should also add some comman proverbs/maxims to this thread,
except this, every member should submit his memorable moment or some thing in English. other members will check out his posts and will try to point out their msitakes.
members are also encouraged that they should ask some meanings of urdu words, phrase, ideoms or proverbs which they dont know in English.
eg, i have to ask that how should expressed (pata to chale k tum kitne pani mai ho?) in english.
if some one knows about it, so plz share.
also try to point out my mistakes in this post.

(3) while in rome, do us the romansdo.(urdu) jaisa mulak waisa libaas.
(4) care kills the cat.(urdu) fikar buri blaa hai.
(5) An ampty mind is a devil's worshop,(urdu) khaali dimaag shetaan ka ghar. |

I like listening music and travelling by air and i like going to the park and going to gym and playing cricket and i like my buissnes,

shoaibali yes this is a good idea to share our likes and dislikes, but u can express ur wish more effectively in a simple sentence as
Lets share our likes and dislikes.
any way, i like music, chatting, movies, and like to remain busy in any activity.
but unfortunatly now a days i have nothing to do, only spending time using internet and watching movies. which had make me very bore. |
