red cells= nill

pus cells=3.5

epith cells=fewall the chemical result column is nill

specific gravity

well your reply was

first one

Ur report does not have biochemical features like PH,glucose, protein or ketones ?.detail........ Epithelial cell few are normal as urine passes out of urethra and some cells are shed with it,....... ...Specific gravity ..you have written 10.14 is it this or 1.014?.. If it is 10.14 then its high which may be due to dehydration .. Less water intake and more fluid loss, infection or diabetes etc but this is just microscopic picture of urine..not biochemical..thats also required

2nd one

PH Is impt to knw its alkaline or acidic. High specific gravity can be dud to dehydration, urinary tract infection, kidney stones(ph required), or... if u had any xray wth dye injection?previously..plus apko kya problem huwe initially jo apne urine test karwaya?

i told you PH is acidic

then i asked

how i can controle the sp gravity or bring it back to normal if it is high

where is the answer of that

regards

specific gravity..

1)as your urine report seems normal otherwise it can be due to contamination of urine sample that has lead to increased specific gravity of this sample

2)it can be due to dehydration that your urine specific gravity has increased as  there is less water intake than lost..(vomiting,diarrhea,sweating)

3)urinary tract infection may or may not be present....3.5 pus cells per high power field can be suggestiveof infectio

4)Antidiuretic hormone production from your pituitary gland can effect the specific gravity...any trauma, stress or certain drugs do increase this hormone production

5)other  cause relate to decreased blood supply to kidney...renel artery narrowing

there is no glucose, protein in ur urine sample else it is also one of the causes...or if you had any dye injected tests but you said you havnt...

if it has been a contamination, test can be repeated..

in case of dehydration u need to take plenty of fluid and fresh juices..

what i think is that u need to go to a urologist he may ask u to repeat ur tes...

else may advise u a urine D/R with urine culture(to check infection)  or   x-ray of ur urinary tract(normal or with contrast)..     or other investigations to check Antidiuretic hormone levels......

thanks for you answer

but want to ask one  more question why don't doctor answer the posts

well i am now more satisfied with your answer

i have done the test again and it is cause of dehydration

and doc advised me to take a lot of fluid like water and juices
